He was the leading goalscorer in quite a good Portuguese u-21 team. There was an semi complimentary article on him in the Portuguese football paper that I bought when we were at Sporting. I could see him going back to Portugal once he is fit.

I can't for reasons I've stated before - there's only 3 clubs that can afford his wages and he's not good enough to play for any of them. He and we will have no choice but to let his contract expire and then maybe he will but half the clubs in the Liga Sagres couldn't afford me never mind Vaz Te.

September 19, 200916 yr theres no doubting the lads got talent, but not sure his head could cope with the pressure. he only 22 and never really had a full season at least as a fit sub to come on and make an impact. though ive just read that in 05/06 he scored 6 goals in 7 starts! *22 sub appearances too mind this season is shit or bust for him, with bwfc.
