September 29, 200916 yr Just informing eveyone that Farnworth market is holding a a car boot sale this sunday. Alot of the stalls that were on Horwich car boot are moving to Farnworth. The car boot sale will run every Sunday. Happy shopping!
September 29, 200916 yr And what if you don't have a car? Even more to the point, what if you have a car and don't need a boot?
September 29, 200916 yr Do you still get scruffy migrants rummaging through your gear with their grubby hands and squeezing their filthy hooves into shoes that would never in a million years have a chance of fitting them?
September 29, 200916 yr Good. I might have a wander down. I'm after some "Grolsch" bottles for me homemade cider.
September 29, 200916 yr Got a couple of lawnmowers and TVs. Kinda place to get rid? Better off trying to sell myself - or just offer them to the "regular" car boot stall holders?
September 29, 200916 yr I always wonder what the motivation is to do a car boot sale. Do I want to get up at 06:30 on a Sunday morning trudge down to a field and be surrounded by scrotes, gypos and general poor folk to sell my old junk just to make ?100, or would I rather fester in bed until a more civilised hour, and then deposit said junk at either a charity shop or down the dump? - the latter methinks Edited September 29, 200916 yr by CWP

September 29, 200916 yr squeezing their filthy hooves into shoes that would never in a million years have a chance of fitting them? Would anybody on here really consider buying second hand shoes?

September 29, 200916 yr NB, have you ever bought second hand shoes or underwear? JAL I think we all know the answer, dont we*? I bet you've bought some "used" lingery on that website I've caught you on a few times though! I have bought second hand jeans back in the 80s from Afflecks. I hope that doesn't put me in the Farnworth Car Boot category. *That's a no btw.

September 29, 200916 yr Would anybody on here really consider buying second hand shoes? Only if they're high heels.
September 29, 200916 yr Second hand underwear? That is GROSS, do folk actually do that? Apart from in farnworth of course? As for secondhand shoes, ive bought a few pairs of secondhand trainers from ebay, of the 'worn once and left in the cupboard since then' variety. Not a dot on them, usually around ?5 a pair as opposed to minimum ?60 a pair. What im saying is.....im a scrubber with an Adidas trainer fetish! And no, i havnt got any verruccas. Yet!
September 29, 200916 yr Would anybody on here really consider buying second hand shoes? There are some folk. We did one many years ago at Leigh Miners, basically cleared the house of shite and clutter, and gave the money to our dowter for her holiday spends. I had old shoes that went straight away, proper old dusty manky shite that had been sat in the garage. The trick is to put things in a big box and let them rummage, I'm convinced they think they're going to find a majic lantern. We did quite well but some of the folk there are something else. Folk will literally buy shite. They'd haggle you down from 20p to 10p for a fucking plate or sommat. Just take the fucker you smelly cunt and get away from me. Whatever was left got dumped at Plonk Lone tip on the way wom.
September 29, 200916 yr What's a car boot sale? It's Doffcocker Village's version of the Trafford Centre
