a pacey winger is an added bonus, but if that winger runs into players or give the ball away in dangerous positions, then you its a very big desicion on whether you gamble on him.

 

therefore now you have no pacey winger, but the team is better for it, providing the replacement players can do a job (albeit slighly different)

 

i dont understand why thats so difficult to understand for some people.

we should play to our strengths, and imo thats simple direct football, but on the deck as well as in the air like we did against spurs and everton.

People dont understand because the team isnt better for it! We didnt look at all like scoring and were very 1 dimensional.

if we belive some of the naysayers of a few years ago it was the players and not megson that dragged us out of the relegation scrap, surely they have enough nouse to think 'hmm keep lofting the ball to davies isn't working lets see if i can pass it to somebody instead.

 

There's a lot of anger being directed towards Megson and yes he's ballsing up his good work, the players need to look at themselves and realise they have to do a lot better.

I agree but he needs to tell them and if they dont listen? Hes obviously the wrong man for the job.

Now to me that is the issue, we will play that way until Davies is dropped ( I wait for the shit to come my way) or he gets injured, the player we have only seem to have that in mind hump it up to Davies, or Plan B hump it up the Davies and if we are really stuck hump it up to Davies, does not matter if we have quick wingers or not
