Dislikes: The cost, the crowds, the fact that I always leave gift buying until the last minute

Dislikes - The after stench after eating a kilo of brussel sprouts

Likes - not being in work

Dislikes - having to spend time with the inlaws.

Like: Time offf work. Festive football.

 

Dislike: Enforced jollity loving new jumper wearing only go out at Christmas but I always sit there whining bastuds.

 

Absolutely hate: The fact that some people spend money they haven't got on people they don't like, buying things that the unliked recipient doesn't even want.

Likes: Double time pay, some good nights out, plenty footy

 

Dislikes: everything else

Dislikes further and is putting his fucking foot down this year: The wife continuing to buy gifts for nephews and nieces who are now grown up, in full time employment, and have their own fucking houses.

'We've always done it' she says. 'They were kids and we bought them fucking lego. Grrrr'.

xmas, as for most blokes turns to shit as you get older, just more fookin socks to fit in your single allocated drawer in your bedroom.

 

but this year i can wait to see the young un open his presents, then play with the boxes as i build (and play) his first scalextric (ages 5 and up? bollocks!)!

Likes : There being less people than normal at work.There being less people than normal on the train.Getting paid a full day's wage without having to work a full day.

 

Dislikes : Having to go to several social events I don't want to go to.Having to feign pleasure at whatever I win in the office Christmas tombola.Having to send an email round the office inviting people to enjoy a tin of biscuits that I have purchased instead of Christmas cards.Not being excited about going watching Bolton at Christmas.

likes: I have all the family and a few friends around for Xmas eve and then Xmas dinner and I cook a f?ck off beltin good Xmas dinner even if i say so meself! I start cooking the turkey at around 06:30am and partake of me first glass of champagne of the morning, by noon i am half cut but the dinner is finished. I then do nowt other than what i want.

 

day out in Manchester with miss bgoe and older son this year around some shops a few days before Xmas, German market a few beers, finished off with a cracking Chinese.

 

boxing day watching a game, tickets permitting these days.

 

Xmas eve is good too. miss bgoe insists on watching Scrooge, bad Santa or wonderful life whilst the neighbours call round for a few drinks.

 

dislikes: none really, make the day what you want it to be and don't compromise!
