tylswhite Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Where as i on the other hand would have Hunt in the team above Steinsson and Ricketts because he's better than both of them.. And you would drop ping pong Your off your fucking trolley
Guest bwfcdan Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 And you would drop ping pong Your off your fucking trolley No i wouldn't drop chow mein... where have i said that I said he wasnt as good as people were making out.. though he took his goal well last night.. so get your facts right
jolly-olly Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 In fairness to the top 4, when they make 5+ changes for league games: they have 5 other regular internationals to bring in. Therefore, it still passes as a strong squad. If we played: Al Habsi Hunt, Ricketts, AOB, Samuel M Davies, McCann, Basham, Gardner Elmander, Vaz Te That'd be a different story. I don't reckon that makes it right though. It's saying they can rest their star players because thay have internationals to come in but teams like us can't because our squad players aren't as good.

If you've assembled a squad of 20-odd internationals, surely you should be allowed to rotate. That's how the big boys get away with it. A second string Man Utd team would finish in the top 4 on its own.

But teams like us and Wolves have assembled squads of less quality agreed so why can them squad players not be picked? Who decides which of your squad players you are allowed to start with?
Traf Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I think the clubs have a duty to the fans as well as the FA. If Utd field a "second XI", can they be accused of not putting a tram out that had a good chance of winning? NO. Did Wolves give themselves much chance of winning? NO. Should any fans have to travel away from home for a night game costing ?42 a ticket, to see their reserves? NO. We can argue till we're blue in the face, but Wolves broke the rules. (A 20 pt deduction is the answer!)

MickyD Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Good job Woy Hodgeson didn't decide, because they were playing ManU, and because it was a lost cause anyway, he'd give the reserve team a run out to rest the legs of the first team!
