Breaking News: Wigan have today revealed they have installed hundreds of pies underneath the pitch for tonights game against Bolton Wanderers to make sure the match will be on tonight. The club have issued a statement confirming they did not want all the pies to go to waste as nobody will be there to buy them.

As a resident of pieville (i repent my sins every day!) the pavements and roads round here were like an ice rink this morning, so unless there's a mini heatwave then i wouldn't be at all surprised if it's called off.

Just come back from Lapland with the kids where earlier in the week it got down to -35!!! (Before we arrived luckily!) Yet they manage to go about their business in the snow, no gritters, no nowt!

 

We then arrive back in to Leeds/Bradford where to be fair it was snowing quite heavily only to be told we were the last flight in or out due to the weather Airport Closed!! Yet they can take off & land 300 miles north of the artic circle!!

 

This country is soft, if the pitch is playable and the stands are clear then anything else should be down to the individual to decide if they fancy it or not, and not some nanny state H&S waller!!
