?92 Million Quid Loss

Featured Replies

How the fuck can that be allowed?

Football absolutely takes the piss these days.

Top four bar Arsenal all on losses more than any other club ...

Citeh more than any other.

and that doesn't include last summer's spending...

i.e. Tevez, Adebyaor, Toure, Lescott and Barry

but to be fair average attendances rose by 809

Chelsea and Citeh owners have written their debts off so they actually owe fuck all

After last summers spending, I wonder what sort of debt Real Madrid are in, that must be massive as well

Doesnt matter with them, they can borrow what they want, everything is underwritten by the Spanish Royal Family

yes they did, on SSN

My point was how can anyone see it to be fair that a club operates with a 92 million pound loss without any form of handicap.

Lot's of clubs, probably most, are operating with some form of loss at the moment.

Is it true that Read Madrid sold off their traning ground to developers but the King of Spain built them a better one as they are so important for tourism for the city?

It wouldn't surprise me if he paid for it, it's a top drawer facility. I've been to their training ground, vit's like fort knox & wouldn't let me in even though I had an appointment there. A bit of name dropping here but I had to ring an ex player who had sorted it to get him to speak to the security guard. He shit it & then a car came from nowhere to take me to the meeting.

Fucking hundreds of folk outside with signs worshipping Raul (who's a rude cunt). Strange experience.

How can it be name dropping if you haven't mentioned his name??

thats what i though... winds me up something rotten.. and its ruining he game.. hence why there are 10 teams that are in a relegation battle this season.. as there is such a large gulf developing..

The problem is theres no way of introducing caps on spending etc..

something like that

i remember it as

RM: f?ck we're skint after our last spending spree

King: I'll buy your training ground off you for a vastly inflated price

RM: nice one

5 minutes pass

King: what the f?ck do i need a training ground for? you may as well have this back, being a football club you could prob find a better use for it

a few years back he insisted the copa del rey (kings cup) final be played at madrid even though they were in the final, then they lost

Hence the word Real in the club name.

the training ground story is a myth

it's not, plenty of material out there about it to read up on

even on their website:

http://www.realmadrid.dk/news/article/?new...keywords=(Figo)

"Perez sold Madrid?s training ground to the city to wipe out debts of $380 million and finance his acquisitions of Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Ronaldo and Luis Figo during the first galactico project."

unless you know somehting they dont?
