Today I opened an account with 118BET (as the offer on BWFC official web site). I backed Chungy to score first goal. They will not deposit your winnings back into the bank account that I used to fund my account. I have had to open a Neteller type account (sort of like paypal), and its a nuisance. BET365 and others do not operate in this way.

Once I have my winnings I intend closing the account! Its pathetic.

Some of these overseas bookies can be a real pain in the arse

 

I've used a couple who've refused to deposit my winnings into my account until I fax them my passport details

I'm not sure of the circumstances as I don't bet but one thing I am sure of it would have been part of the T&C's when you opened up the account. You must have accepted this once you read the T&C's so you have no cause for complaint.

You make a fair point, we should always read the small print, I cannot argue with that!

 

However if the offer on BWFC web site had said "we will allow you to use your bank account to pay us, but for us to pay you your winnings you will need to open an internet "mediation" account, that will be difficult to set up" I am sure many people would not have opened the account.

BET365, SKYbet for example (National Lottery also) simply use the same bank account.

 

When I eventually recieve my money, I will definitly not need to worry anymore about the small print because this 188Bet "customer" is not happy. As I said to the on line help last night, please do send me a customer feedback form

If you are still interested in this saga...Today I finally transferred my winnings from the Neteller account to my bank. MINUS ?5 transaction fee! As I said when I started this post, I do not recomend anyone joining 118 bet (yes I know they sponsor BWFC but I will also be writing to the club)

I used them for the first time at the ground today. Part of my bet was 1.00 on Cahill last scorer. Teams announced - no Cahill in squad. I thinks I'll change my bet so went back to the kiosk.

 

Me - Can I have a refund on the Cahill bet please.

Not sticking up for 188, but its just the way they work. They're not a traditional bookmaker, they are an Asian handicap firm. Said it before, but them, sbobet and Mansion are trying to crack the UK market, but it just isn't going to happen.

I had a similar dissatisfaction with them today.

 

On the list of games down the right hand side of the coupon I selected 10 games for a ?1 stake. I then permed any 9 from 10 @ 20p = 10 bets = ?2

I have raised my issue with BWFC, and had a response from BWFC. They promised to take my issue up with 118.

BWFC are due to undertake a survey of supporters experiences of 118 before the end of the season and by having this type of feedback, it will hopefully help 188BET improve the product that they can offer.

 

Still not actually seen whats left of my winnings in my own bank account, as soon as I do I will be sacking 118

some of the odds compared to what you get in the bookies are shocking. K davies first scorer 1-0 today at William Hill was 45-1, in the ground it was 30-1
