I voted for the Mancs, not because I want them to win, but bvecause I think they will win. If the poll asked which team you wanted to win, then of course I would put Villa, but it doesn't

Who have we beat aside from Croatia who i wouldnt put in the world class category? lost to spain, last two times we've played them, lost to brazil, drew with holland (would of lost but for them making loads of changes). When did we last beat one of the top countries Brazil/Spain/Germany/Italy/France/Holland/Portugal??? We got through a crap group. Croatia poor compared to last qualifiers, even lost out to an average Ukraine for 2nd.

 

We play heskey we wont win a thing, sent packing as soon as we play a decent team. Either defoe at side of rooney or better still 4 2 3 1 as then you get Gerrard in his best position in the hole (like he plays often for liverpool behind Torres. Sticking him wide left is criminal)

I dont buy into this rooney is better with a big carthorse at the side, hes done perfectly well this season at man u without having one next to him (get the berbatov jibes in). Theyve even played 1 up top at times and two wide men with 3 centre mids - as per the system above

Realist is a better word id use. Though i tend to be a glass half empty person than a half full one. We'll see what happens in the summer then, if he sticks with Heskey, then we can bring up the topic again.

Ok so what teams have beaten?

 

Good ones that is, dont reel off Belarus, Khazakstan and like at me. You could pick a side to beat these tomorrow. I'll let you have Croatia, they arent bad. Fair play with Germany also . Just looked at the side though from the Germany game and its been noted that we didnt play the big carthorse up top in that game

 

Ps I'd fogotten we'd lost to france, another top echelon side another loss. Joint 2nd favourites for trophy, ridiculous.
