What an exceptional bowler he is, watched him today and it reminded me of when I used to bowl in my back garden using skittles as wickets.

Not only is he a great cricketer[batting included] he comes across very laid back and has a great sense of humour.

With him we can win the Ashes in Australia!

Diddles, don't ever grow up, please.

Too good to be true this lad. Happy should be paying him a retainer. Bag of Quavers and a bottle of Dandelion & Burdock a week.

Did you bowl underarm by any chance Dids?

Not me but my sister did, I'm quite a good spinner, I like spinning pens on my fingers and spinning/hooking bowling balls.

We used to have our own scoring system, if you hit it against the back wall it was like 10 points, 5 if you hit the closer wall, 10 if you hit the plant pots, 20 if you got it in the pool and things like that, I wasn't that good at batting, if you hit it into next door's you were out, I remember climbing the fence to retrieve my ball and I got caught whilst on it and fell off

Talking a lot of years ago now, good times.

Was at old Trafford today tamins knock was a cracker as was Swanns spell in the final session.

Hope it lasts till Monday as going then

Come on, you should know Diddles by now! He kept the old BWFC forum going almost single handedly with random theories and comedy moments, all he needs is a few bags of space raiders and lashings of ginger beer!

Oh, and he'll literally be in orbit if you feed him them sherbet filled flying saucers..............

I must be getting old now though as I've renewed my rather jaded interest in the crikkit and have almost started to make sense of what goes on, aided and abetted by the fellas in the Pendle.

It all started with the twenty20, after that it was all downhill.....

Fools!

Did you do anything else with your sister Dids? Leap frog, doctors & nurses?

You've dropped a couple of hundered words from most of your posts, which is good believe me, and you are supplying material free of charge for Mike Hunts book of interesting anecdotes. You are without doubt a WW treasure - but I think maybe the joke is on us.

tail starts with their number 2

diddles you remind me of ricky gervais and stephen merchants mate , karl pilkington.

Genius.

Anyone want a spare ticket for tomorrow.Face value

Bit shit if you dont get your money back just because the test match ended early, turn up anyway and see if they will let you sit in the ground.

FB will get a full refund.

I was there on Friday and Sunday. Great sesh on Friday. Remember little!

Sunday was delayed start cos of the rain. And then all out in one session.

If they had bowled them out for less than 24.5 overs we'd have got a 50% refund.

They managed to scrape out 34 overs.

Was a bit pathetic really yesterday.

But I guess we've got to play these teams.

Knew I'd get a refund less ?1 admin mate.Only joking.

Thought it would at least go to 4th day especially as it went to 5 in the 1st test.

If England had time on the 2nd day they would have batted again instead of forcing Bangladesh to follow on. It would have gone to the 4th day at the least then.

In the good old days they would have put on a one day game.
