We played Bristol City (bogey team!)in 1990 (Div 3!) with over 11,000 on and it was a superb atmosphere. I remember it kicking off everywhere too.

I seem to remember an early-mid 90's game V Sunderland, it was either Easter or Xmas and we had about 20k on - I didn't expect it at all and I'd never seen Burnden so full for a normal league game - I thought it was amazing
