Attendances At The Reebok

Featured Replies

I had no interest in going because I have man flu but mainly because of the shit style of football we are still playing. We need new players and fast.

Too predictable hoofing it up to Davies to flick on or nod down to a fellow striker not interested

  • The shit fans are those Boltonians going to Old Trafford and Anfield for their football, the weak willed, disloyal shithouses.

  • no it doesnt, im in the bath with a phone as battered as your mum!

  • i thought it was cos megson was manager?   if you just want to see 'good' football go watch united   bolton 'supporters' don't stop going cos the footballs 'not good'

WE didn't need an excuse. WE went to the game. I actually think you're preaching to the converted.

I posted on here at half time. I don't actually know what your point is though, I did it by phone.

i don't have a posh phone..

i have to contribute to my own pension..

There are good reasons for lower attendances in midweek there are many people on shiftwork, quite a number of fans do travel quite a distance there is one bloke who travels up from Southhampton and has a season ticket and another from near Wrexham who travels to most games, sometimes these lads cannot make it and there must be plenty of others in the same situation.

Add to all of the above the fact that many families with younger kids won't attend night games on a school night.

Let,s face it if your not going this season you won't be going.

The attendance was probably even lower than quoted.

Absent S/T holders are still counted.

bloody hell jay, you say that like you support a team is used to playing good football, and has a right to succed!

Let's face it thousands of Bolton fans only go when we are playing top sides. Oooo look there's Rooney!!! Oooo yeah and there's Rio.

Not sure they do turn out for the big games, many of the extra seats are taken by people who live locally who support the big teams.

Was ?26 for an adult ticket, not ?15. Said my piece on the other thread where someone was whinging. Just wondering what the fuck it has got to do with you what other's spend their hard earned on...?

Quite right Casino, But I think there are Old Skool BWFC who have been there done that for years and seen real bad times, and the new wave of happy clappy fans (sub 20 years service), I think I know which side anewman comes from. :)

I can understand Blackburn's attendance their fans are revolting, against their chicken plucker owners, but at ?15 we had no excuse.

Now that bit's true

It was ?15?

As do I. Tell you what. We'll bring our pay slips and compare our pension contributions as a percentage of gross pay. I think you'd be surprised at how much my "free and non-contributary" pension costs me.

It was certainly a disapointing gate , but hasnt it always been so, if you have not got a season ticket & are a bit skint after the

festivities which match gets the elbow ?(excluding Sat cup match)...........Its rarely a good game & my feeling walking down to the game

was not a good one so hey-ho I dont think we will get a lower league gate for the rest of the season.

As for saturday that might be a proper embarassment !

It was ?15?

Think season ticket holders could buy extra tickets from ?15.

North Lower with member's discount would have been ?15, too.

You are the worst sort of 'fan' no sense of loyalty expect to be served up A1 'entertainment' every game , no sense of where the club is

financially .

You also have no appreciation of the limitations that the current manager has in terms of being stuck with four or five players he

does'nt want or need or the great job he is doing trying to vary our style of play with the current players.

If your supposed to be for a change in playing style then get behind Owen Coyle & stop whinging.....0h & try to turn up for games even if you have a bit of a cold

It wasn't ?15 though. The cheapest adult lower tier tickets were ?20 last night and they were only available in the NSL.Upper tier tickets were around ?30.

please do not bring facts into this. let him rant.

i went and managed to get a freebie off my mate. if it wasnt for that i would have gone home with that massive queue in the rain for tickets.

reasons people wont have been there:

1. cold.

2. cost - i know it isnt too bad but it is still a lot for some

3. people work in the week and cannot get.

Let's not mention the empty seats at all those other grounds either, because apparently we're the only club in the country that has them.

The attendance was probably even lower than quoted.

Absent S/T holders are still counted.

They dont.

It's March before we have a Saturday home game - with midweek games against Chelsea and Wolves and a Sunday kick off against Everton coming up there'll be plenty of excuses for folk not to bother.

couldn't give a f?ck

i was there

and was there when we beat spurs, newcastle and the blackpool game which presumably most of the "stay aways" missed out on too

if people want to stay at home I couldn't care less

so don't feel the need to justify it

I was going, but monflu hit Monday night by Wednesday I was shaking like a shitting dog and coughing like a seal.

Couldnt even make it to our cricket club.

Same, and I don't have a S/T. Infact I haven't seen us lose in person this season. =D>

I really don't get why others are arsed. Always sounds loud enough in my vicinity apart from when I was in the Lofthouse upper for Newcastle.

Scratch that I've seen us lose at Burnely & Citeh.
