Our annual run of shitness usually lasts significantly longer than all except the bottom 3 or 4 clubs.

Personally I do not mind people wanting to vent their anger, but I believe there is a time and place. Over the past few weeks there have been numerous times when I have been at the match and people have done nothing but slag the players off. I think that this is never going to have a positive effect on the players, especially when they are playing. Get behind the team no matter what, many of you will have watched Bolton in much worse positions. If you want to vent your anger do it in the pub or on message boards like this one, but get behind the team, its what they need most. Get the Reebok rocking!

I think the record for number of PL goals in a season for us is 12 (Ricketts and Davies), he's got 9 and there's 14 games left.

 

If we're ready to start dropping people to find some form, he'd be way down the list. Certainly below the captain.

Yes, all teams have a bad run sometime during a season.

Yes, we've had bad Prem runs before .... including 6 losses in a row.

Yes, our squad isn't big enough & we can't afford more.

Yes, OC has inherited this squad & they're not his players.

 

BUT

 

I expect a system to match the players we've got.

I expect some pride in, and fight for, the shirt ..... mercenaries though they are.

I expect hard work on the training ground to produce corners, throw-ins & free-kicks that threaten the opposition goal, with some variety.

I expect us to make the best of what we've got (which was happening until December started).

I expect to be seeing some signs of change if things aren't working out after 2 months of tripe.

 

As I've said before, no good will come of panicking. But the danger signals are flashing. No point saying otherwise.
