my very itk mate reckons the boardroom expect promotion next year

They may struggle, both Barrow and Chester have gone full time, some big money invested at Barrow too who have started signing players on 3 year deals etc.

ITK, KW son?

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

the teams coming up into that division have generally challenged for promotion

That sounds a cracker for Athy Colls, never done Whitley Bay because it's so difficult to do in the day on a train.

If you're doing nowt on Tuesday night there is a good friendly on at Atherton Collieries V Rhyl, managed by our own Greg Strong, nowt like having a European team playing in your own backyard

Will be at Rochdale myself but should be a good test for Colls. Played well against Droylsden and were even better yesterday.

Cracking game at Colls tonight, Greg [strong] brought a very strong Rhyl side up to Alder Street, Colls ran out 3-2 winners, a nice jolly boys outing to Whitley Bay on Saturday for us

First day of the season and a cracking 2-1 win for Colls at Cammell Laird. Had to laugh at the Scouser shouting to the Colls fans "we're not from Liverpool, we're from Birkenhead"....while wearing a t-shirt with LFC all over it. The Scouse pies were superb, mind, I'll give them that. Only the second recorded incident of seeing Leigh White consume solids in seven years of knowing him.

I tend to stay away from football stadia food at the overpriced crap they have on offer, but seeing how folk were munching these massive pies at £ 1-50 a go i had to have one, same as your cookies NB, top notch. :D

See you there.

Absolute fantastic comeback and win by Colls tonight, 1-0 down at half time, ran out 5-1 winners, that is two top teams we have beaten in our first 2 games, good crowd on as well, it was good to see a few lads from Bolton here as well,

If you're not going to Watford on Saturday give us a try at Alder House, everybody welcome
