Absolute fantastic comeback and win by Colls tonight, 1-0 down at half time, ran out 5-1 winners, that is two top teams we have beaten in our first 2 games, good crowd on as well, it was good to see a few lads from Bolton here as well,

If you're not going to Watford on Saturday give us a try at Alder House, everybody welcome

See you about 2ish pal.

For those coming to Colls on Saturday we are playing Litherland, another load of scousers darkening our doorsteps

Lets hope they bring some pies over with them , those scouse treats last week were miles better than Dawsons.

The engineering that goes in to Colls' pies deserves an award though, didn't drop a single crumb at the Curzon friendly. Completely freehanded, no tray or tissue or owt.

Kevin Davies took the training at Colls tonight, he was brilliant, spent an hour and a half training the team then 45 minutes in the bar (he wasn't supping) having a chat with everyone, this was just another piece of the jigsaw in the Atherton Collieries 'feelgood factor', well done Kevin Davies

I bet he wasn't the best player there.

Great day with Ricky at Athy Colls, 6-0, £2.30 a pint, met Leigh White.

As always Ricky your hospitality was spot on, appreciated.

Bit of a downer on the way home.

During the season for the last 4 years we've always bumped in to a chap on the 524 back in to LL.

Bury fan, goes home and away, watched em years. Told me they'd sold 1500 for Tuesday.

Next he tells me he has 4 to 8 months. Cancer. Absolutely gutted. What do you say. Explained to the lad who says he looks well.

Nice to meet you C 86, i take my mother to Christies once a month for treatment, her friend Sue Hall, mother of Mike and Chris on Granada Reports passed away last week from the disease, anyway apart from all the shite we have to put up with, was a great day in the sun watching colls trounce the scousers.
