Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

The point is, we don't even speyk like wigginers,, you can detect a wiggin drawl a mile off.

Top man.

Hoping Big Billy turns up R, talking to some of his mates in Leigh today and I think he could be feeling a bit down again mate.

He's not been so good for a few weeks now,

He's not been so good for a few weeks now,

He loves his football, and you couldn't have a better laugh with him when he's on form, will have to call round his house to see how he his.

cass. i think a lot of the attraction is the ground, its an old fashioned ground with a bit of character to it, ive been to rammy and radcliffe but they dont have the same appeal to it even though thefootys not as good, it seems strange but i just dont like modern stadiums, even talked about dusting my shoes down for brentford next season.

What time does these games kick off?

I might be on a bit of a mooch.

3pm should be a decent crowd on as well traf, i reckon 1500/2000 on. which is superb at that level.

Which game? Chorley?

Fair enough

Turton and eagley, for example, are both nearer than chorley, though

Just all seems a bit like picking a good un to support

aye. have i got wires crossed. been on the cragganmore for a while now

Good man...just stay off the beans n greens

dont mind turton or eagley, its a good standard of footy, but hte grounds are severly lacking in character. i know turtons managers quite well

i would never urge anybody to support anybody but bolton, but on an international fixture its another option to watch a game of footy in a different enviroment and also have a few light ales in another town

Id rather watch a non league game than a game down at the reebok

I quite like victory Park from the pre season friendly games the academy have had over the last 6 years or so. The Mrs is from Chorley too so that's why I am going.

The 'flat cap derby' - Athy Colls V Athy LR is 3.00pm

Ah, I was looking for an evening fixture.

No worries.

Busy day of racing today.

From the sounds of it, she'll be in the minority coming from Chorley if she goes with you.

2300 according to some bloke here who's spoke to someone on the gate. Belting. Naturally I'm in the clubhouse pint in hand before the first half finishes.

A dull 0-0 draw at Athy Colls, beltin weather and a good crowd of around 250, a good boost for the club's coffers, gutted I couldn't have a drink as I start on nights tonight for 7 nights, booo
