We spent 3/4 years in 5th/6th above City, Vill and Spurs, all now are in the position we could see ourselves heading. Moyes said beginning of the season, its his best squad, since being at the Club,.....so why is it not working! He is right though, when he took over we had, Gazza, Ginola, Duncan Ferguson and Kevin Campbell, all in their mid 30's sat on the bench looking for direction. While Li Tie, Gemmil, Pembridge, Wier, Unsworth were stomping around relegation Zone ! Within 3 years he had us playing in Europe, with 4/5 players pushing the England squad (Neville, Johnson, Jags, Lescott and Baines), Mikel in fine form, and Cahill banging them in ! Either its a bad year, or some bigger problems, and Moyes has enough or maybe thought he has done all he can, on the budget we work on. In 9 years, he has spent a net of approx 1.4 Million a year.....and that?s with the odd duffer, Billy and Kroldrup. City have spent more in months, than we have since we last won the league!!! He may have gone stale, maybe a parting is needed, for us and him.
