February 15, 201115 yr Baines and Jagielka and probably Rodwell would improve us. Coleman would strengthen the squad. Fellaini wouldn't suit us now but if we'd signed him when Campo was on the wane he'd have been a cracking replacement (and not just because of the hair). I'm not arsed about the rest. Let's face it, Saha would improve Everton.
February 15, 201115 yr I would only have Cahill and Sturrige start for us, but Holden Davis on the bench instead of the Kids we have! That is irrational looking at the league table. Bolton's midfield is stronger than Everton's.Holden is the best central midfield player at either club and Lee is the best wide man.
February 15, 201115 yr Stuart holden over jack rodwell every single day of the week for me. To sum it up he's a better footballer. Jack rodwell- massive potential which is not being fulfilled. As for the rest, at this moment in time I'd take baines and cahill. The rest can go to fuck, there shite!
February 15, 201115 yr If we swapped managers, we would be above you, but saying that, we were 90 mins from taking over you!! Like I have said, its about the managers getting the best out of certain players. You midfield defence AND attck AND Keeper, are currently in better form, But They are not all better players ! Sturridge is in better form than Rooney !!!!!
February 15, 201115 yr Saha, fuck me, he'd spend more time with the physio than S Davis. Neville... ROFLCRAFT, you might as well resurrect Gavin McCann if you want someone to go sideways all day.

Sturridge is in better form than Rooney !!!!! Dont give me none of that form bollocks, Evertons are above Bolton in the current form table. The problem Everton have is most of their players are either past it or a crock. You wont get anywhere with a mix of oldies and crocks.

You wont get anywhere with a mix of oldies and crocks. Good job you can sum it up in 1 sentance, and watching them twice, when a full team of coaches, and 40,000 fans cant, your wasted ! Makes me piss how fans of other Clubs think they know the answers to other teams problems. Every single man and his dog....apart from Bolton fans...will know that this is Everton bieng in bad form or a bad run, and will know that Coyle is getting the best out of average players! February 15, 201115 yr Jussi vs Howard 50/50 Ricketts vs Neville. 50/50 Neville cant go forwards and is ready for the knackers yard Jags vs Knight. Jagielka wins if hes fit which seems to be never Cahill vs Distin. Cahill a better footballer full stop Baines vs Robbo. Baines a better footballer full stop Lee vs Coleman. Lee a better footballer full stop Arteta vs M davies. Arteta a shadow of him former self so hard to pick. Holden vs Fellaini. Holden better in every department and not likely to assault anybody Taylor vs Cahill/Osman/whoever. Taylor looking past it. Saha vs Sturridge. Saha is a crock and a waste of time. Anichebe vs SKD. no need to answer that :: Id have 3 if they werent injured of course and they would be Jags, Cahill & Baines. The rest you can keep.

Like I have said, its about the managers getting the best out of certain players. You midfield defence AND attck AND Keeper, are currently in better form, But They are not all better players ! Sturridge is in better form than Rooney !!!!! Sturridge and Rooney both have three goals in their last three games, I think, which makes Saha better than the pair of them! Anyway, let's face it, there's not a lot between us. There's not a lot between three quarters of the league. Your problem is having shite all up front. Your defence is still decent, but you've only taken 19 points (3 wins, 10 draws) from a possible 63 when the opposition have scored. For comparison, we've taken 26 from a possible 69 (6 wins, 8 draws). A forward line perming Beckford, Anichebe, Baxter and occasionally Saha puts a hell of a lot of pressure on your back line.
February 15, 201115 yr absolutly deluded. Holden is a decent player, but to say he is better in every way is madness.

I agree with most of this. I just think we are way off form this season, just not got going. We should be right in that top 6 mix!
February 15, 201115 yr absolutly deluded. Holden is a decent player, but to say he is better in every way is madness. What areas do you think he isnt better then? Heading and elbowing and thats probably it.
February 15, 201115 yr I think I preferred it when Pablo was sulking I mean on holiday as it was peaceful My take on things, Everton do have some good players Baines, Coleman and Rodwell IMO are fantastic players with great futures ahead of them. Don't see what the fuss is with Fellaini but then again I don't watch Everton week in week out. Anyhow Everton will stay up and with the side they have got they should be aiming to finish regularly between 10th and 15th
February 15, 201115 yr Every single man and his dog....apart from Bolton fans...will know that this is Everton bieng in bad form or a bad run, and will know that Coyle is getting the best out of average players! Think that Moyes has been doing that for the last 9 years. They won't get anyone nearly as good when he gets promotion to a top half team who can spend some money.
February 15, 201115 yr What areas do you think he isnt better then? Heading and elbowing and thats probably it. Heading, ball Control, ball retention, awareness, physicality, controlling of the game, is what Fellaini is a beast at, and would walk into your team, if you don?t see this, then I am lost even talking to you ! February 15, 201115 yr Think that Moyes has been doing that for the last 9 years. Untill the last 2 years !! Moyes got in the top 4 with Li Tie, Gemmil, Pembridge, and Marcus Bent. Now he cant get in the top 8 with Fellani, Jagielka, Baines and Arteta!
February 15, 201115 yr Felliani would walk into our team Despite you're poor season i wouldnt be overly surprised if come the middle of may you're above us. Game in hand, birm home, win it you're only three points behind us. Still cant see us taking many points on the road and our remaining home games are tricky. mid to high forties for both teams is my prediction Edited February 15, 201115 yr by tarian1979

He's a very good player but he doesn't work nearly hard enough to get in our team the way we're set up. He ambles for 90 minutes, which is alright when you're in possession but it's no use at all when you want to get it back. Edited February 15, 201115 yr by enzo gambaro

Ball control and retention? You seriously think that lanky streak of piss has a better touch than Holden? Awareness? Physicality = Red cards = usueless.

He ambles for 90 minutes, which is alright when you're in possession but it's no use at all when you want to get it back. Thats what we do (usually) have all the posession, and use th 5 man midfield, our lack of strikers mean's it doesnt really work the way it should. The season Yakubu got 20 goals, it worked great. Playing that way needs an in form forward.
February 15, 201115 yr Ball control and retention? You seriously think that lanky streak of piss has a better touch than Holden? Awareness? Physicality = Red cards = usueless. Yes to all of them, Chelsea AND Arsenal had to double up on Fellaini, to stop Everton playing, thats Essien, Mikel / Ramires, Denilson, Song / Wilshire!!! Im not sure teams play to stop Holden, who I have said many times, is a good player, a cracking little player even. But he is not the Dominant midfield enforcer, that Marouane is, and he is 2 years younger than Holden !! FFS, you even played to stop Fellaini !!! Your just really upset he bullied your players. Its ok, they are fully grown men, they dont need you crying in the pub when watching it dodgy TV !!

You mentioned this before and that Mavies and Holden doubled up on him But it's hogwash We set up in out usual 4-4-2, it's just that Arteta was hiding for most of the game and Mavies and Holden were buzzing around the middle where Fellaini was To think that Owen Coyle of all Managers would do that shows how little you do know about BWFC and his philosophies Do you not think we'd have played Muamba if we were going to "shackle" someone??
