Well said didles, I've been going to bolton games home and away for nigh on 20 years and not once have I wanted to mix my football with a bit of a ruck with some lads who happen to support a different football team to me.

 

Closest i've come to it is the 1st game vs united at the Reebok when 2 dirty reds decided shoving over my then 10 yr old brother and my mum, made them tough.

cheeky cunts might be right, but it shows how times have changed when getting into the town centre at 10.30 and taking a few pictures and getting excorted to the ground is a result.

 

i have no idea what would happen if boltons top boys met their top boys, but as sad as it may seem to some i would hope bolton would come out on top if it happened. i have so far lost no sleep over the taking of the town hall steps.

I used to work with a Wigginer who lived near Springfield Park, we got an invite to his house on Boxing Day before our first ever meet. It was an early KO and the pubs around the gaff was shut so we took a load of cans. His wife made everybody bacon butties, then more and more lads kept walking in the house. My mate said fucking hell Mick, this is taking the piss, i said i thought they were your mates. It turned out to be a load of Bolton lads who clocked a chance to have a bacon butty before the match.
