Smiley Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Was thinking of taking my daughters to the Theatre of Doggy-Doo in a couple of weeks - but ?72 for tickets for the 3 of us! Cor blimey guv! Do folk actually take their kids to away games and pay this kind of wonga? I was shocked!
Boothy Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 The NSPCC are concerned about children being taken to the Theatre of Shite.
Guest Frandsen08 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 only been to that shithole 3 times, twice we won and one i didnt pay for. im in two minds about this one.

Do folk actually take their kids to away games and pay this kind of wonga? I was shocked! Me and Wiggum take a junior each to the odd away game, Brum is costing ?25 per 'couple' think Newcastle was ?38. Good thing is that as kids with you costs less in ale, although City away bucked the trend this year.
no balls Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 As a single adult I'll not pay the price those bastards are charging. It's no wonder they can't fill their stadium anymore.
richbwfc Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I was half tempted to attend this, but at ?42 plus ?20+ train ticket it just isnt possible! However would be more than willing to pay that for Wembley should we get through!
Happy Wanderer Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I've not been for the last 3 seasons as I refuse to fund them yanks.
marple whites Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Taken junior marple to most away games this season. Cost of my travel is reduced with a family railcard that normally pays for his ticket !! Plus the fact the missus gives an ultimatum sometimes and says if I don't take him, I can't go !!
Athywhite_Mike Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Me plus 4/5 will be in. ?42 a ticket is a disgrace but I shall be in attendance. Went last year and had a great crack before and after the game up the northern quarter. We've a great chance of beating them this year, imo. 1-2 Bolton early prediction.
liam_mac Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 im in with a free ticket !!! unfortunatly its in the dmb end so when we score if you see 1 lone person cheering and then running think of me guys

To be fair they have only dropped 2 points at home this season.
Athywhite_Mike Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 To be fair they have only dropped 2 points at home this season. Indeed they have but with two big games for them before playng us (Arsenal & Marsille) they may rest a few players for our game or think we'll be a push over/easy win.
james phillips Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Tis one of only 2 away games i will not attend - Scum and Liverpool. They will not benefit from my hard earned dosh. no way.wouldnt go if they were giving tickets either.
RUREADY2ROLL Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I will be in attendance - travelling from Worcester with 2 reds; and I am a BAD LOSER
Ljsimms Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 The NSPCC are concerned about children being taken to the Theatre of Shite. haha nice one
MickyD Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 In answer to the original question, I won't be going to O/T any time soon because of ticket prices. When I go To aways it's with wife +2 and at DMB prices it just isn't an option. I'd have spent ?120 and not got there yet! Pick and choose your away games.
Mounts Kipper Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I normally draw the line at tickets over ?35 however I make an exception for utd as I could not bear to miss us beat them and for that reason I will be there as usual.
YATESY Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 ?40 for 4 of us at Birmingham this weekend v ?42 for just one ticket at United the week after. Unbelievable
Happy Wanderer Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 There will be tickets available via WW competition which I'll put up in the next day or two.
RUREADY2ROLL Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 There will be tickets available via WW competition which I'll put up in the next day or two. Nice one Happy I will wait to see if I win before buying one
marple whites Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 This game will be changed if they draw with Arsenal in the FA cup. Scheduled replay date is when the league game with us should take place.
veralynn Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I will be in attendance - travelling from Worcester with 2 reds; and I am a BAD LOSER I think you're being a bit harsh on yourself mate you're not that bad..... just a loser!!
