The Little Things In Football

It's all in the title really. Forgetting player wages, referee's, diving etc. because that winds everyone up.

For me, it's Arsenal's stadium announcer when announcing the squad/goalscorer. He screeches 'Robin' then the crowd shout 'van Persie'. Think Stoke have just started doing this. See, insignificant, but I hate it.

Moan away fellow Trotters..

The fact that not only are all kiosk employees not speak English but always manage to get my order wrong everytime!

Is this ironic humour or have you really written "Kiosk employees not speak English"?

Int that summat to do with the sponsers, they chose a home player always?

For ten years a bloke has passed behind me in my seat, and the straps on his rucksack has batted me on the side of the head. Four times a match, nineteen plus times a season, for ten years.

He's a lovely bloke, I'll miss him if he moves.

I take it you weren't at Bradford about 15 years ago.

Sasa Circic pretty much ripped the entire Bradford team a new arse each. Think he scored at least one, maybe two, and near the end of the game they announced the man of the match was the ginger lad. Was it Wayne Jacobs?

Created a moment or two of mirth and merriment amongst the travelling hoards. It was in the days when hoards used to travel though!

I hate how talkshite always call Readings ground "The Mad Stad"

The bloke on the tannoy at DMB who shouts "Old Trafford" before telling us the score of a game were at as though we dont know!

Dick!

I have a major dislike for the fashionable need for well-off folk to own a football club they have absolutely no affiliation with.

I am more accepting of Jack Walker because he was a long standing Rovers fan. Same with Mike Ashley at Newcastle. Eddie Davies at Bolton.

I'm talking about the ones at City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, the new owners of Blackburn. . .

I can't wait for them to get bored.

Fook me that I was just going to post, cringeworthy

One thing I miss is the coloured nets and old style goalposts how sad is that, oh throw in them fooking flashin advertising boards

If you have to listen to a match on radio and the commentator says a team is kicking left to right

oh and the phrase from a neutral point of view

Stewards who constantly get in the way walking up the steps to tell the kids at the back to sit down, passing 2 or 3 groups of blokes (bigger than the steward) who are also standing.

No smoking stadiums that don't allow you to smoke when out in the open, for example st.andrews turf moor.

Cheerleaders should have nothing to do with football.
