And it brought the best out of the filth fans again with their IRA songs.

Wankers.

It will get lost in the wash again though.

  • My rather simplistic view is this:   Lennon regularly acts the cunt and rightly derided for it. And that's where it should end.   The death threats, live bullets etc is all completely out of order

  • You don't seem too bright, sonny.   I was brought up by a very wise man (conicidentally of Scottish/Irish descent)who always used to say to me 'Never judge a bloke by his religion or the colour of h

  • Here's my take on it.   Lennon is a ballbag of the highest order but to send someone a bomb is cowardly and below contempt.     ok Bolty and Col, Peebles and all the rest of the Rangers fans on h

Why are they so against Lennon I don't understand any of this pub football

don't want to get in this same arguement again it has been going on for too fucking long with dickhead after dickhead adding their opinuon ( both catholic , protestent, muslim budhist, jew and athiest) there is so much shit in the world and ww all cop our fair share why make lines in the sand

But pato, you did with your mentioning the anthem. I just can't stand the man as he come across as an arrogant prick, nothing to do with his religious persuation.

If I may be appropriately biblical for a moment:

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. It was noted by all those who followed him, that he did not have minging, horrible, stomach-turning ginger pubes either"

You see what I'm getting at.

if it's personal then I've no problem if it is subjecting his family this then yes I can your resposibility is to keep yor fami.y safe if you can,( filth to me is man u and always will be ) most footballers are arrogant pricks or they wouldn't be able to function owt else they ain't worth it we could name all the arrogant pricks we know but we can guess most

Here's my take on it.

ok Bolty and Col, Peebles and all the rest of the Rangers fans on here, you will disagree with me here but the orange side of the divide always seem to me more extreme and sectarian than the bomb chucking side (I'm talking football here, not politics). I have no time for either of the sides but where I grew up it was a mostly Protestant area of Scotland and the hatred for anything catholic was tangible. It has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Lennons main problem is that he is a terracing thug who has become manager somehow and he winds people up with his rants and behaving like a cunt on the touchline. McCoist is a gentleman compared to him though there was no doubt in my mind that he wound Lennon up in their spat last month.

I wouldn't be sorry if both teams pissed off to play in the Irish league, for me there is no place for them or their "fans" in civilised football

Just for clarification Jazza, I have a lot of Catholic friends, some practising, many not so. I don't have any love for any religion so I don't single out anyone for their religious beliefs. I might think they are brainwashed but that would just be a private opinion.

I have a bluenose family connection and my Dad first took me to Ibrox when I was a nipper (he was a long distance lorry driver and I used to go with him on some trips).

Later, like most on here, the activities of the provisional IRA turned my stomach and seeing that clubs fans flying tricolours with 'Dundee Provos' and worse written on them plus their massive direspect for most things British (Remembrance Day, anyone?) did it for me.

I utterly despise them but do not condone what happened last night even though it did raise a smile at first viewing.

He's just a nasty little c?nt who many people just do not like. Simple really.

can't be doing with the sectarian shite but i do condone what happened

lennon is just a horrible little man

shearer had it reet

Your dislike of him may have nothing to do with his religion but this attack (which you found so funny), along with previous attacks, the bombs, the bullets and the threats against his wife and children are down to the fact that the man is an irish catholic living and working in an institutionally bigoted country. So whilst you are cocking your sides laughing at this, anyone with half a brain cell is baffled by how and why this kind of behaviour can go on in modern 'britain'.

hear hear =D> =D> =D> :good:

Do you really believe that?

He brought it on his self, did you see his reaction after the gers game. Arrogant prick he is never liked him. even when he played for the foxes

It sounds like you are trying to condone it though?

You mean the same 'modern Britain' which a good proportion of Celtic fans claim to despise?

Just remember it cuts two ways mate.

I don't condone anything which has happened to Lennon. What I would say, however, is that if you conduct yourself in a statesman like manner in a 'sensitive' position like his, then this shiyte probably wouldn't be happening.

Walter Smith for example. True gentleman as was Jock Stein (even though he knew).

Do you really believe that?

Yes, wholeheartedly!

I pressume you do not?

It sounds like you are trying to condone it though?

Ey up. He's back. I think we have encountered you before in a couple of different guises?

It's the resident Green Brigade member innit?

Yes, wholeheartedly!

I pressume you do not?

No. But then again apparently, I only have half a brain.

Alright Bolty we met once , Zozzy was there and introduced us.

I've seen the brainwashed element on both sides hell I got some wanting me head kicked in (both sides) .

My family have been over here for 50 years paying tax and doing the right thing working in NHS and the gasboard and I've took an oath or two but it is not right for the sectarian kick off.

I expect Lennon to give up after this season but he is not the manager that Celtic wanted

No. But then again apparently, I only have half a brain.

Lennon immature to the extreme.......... My link

racially abusing Diouff ... My link

The guy is a D1ck

Ey up. He's back. I think we have encountered you before in a couple of different guises?

I don't know what you are on about with that last comment to be honest.

It does sound like you are trying to condone it though. Whenever i hear anyone of a blue persuasion talk about about this subject it's always a case of, ''oh aye terrible what happened with lenny gettin those bombs sent to him and his kids bein shipped off to a safe house, shockin but. No surprise he gets abuse though, did you see the way the cheeky basta cupped his ears at ibrox? Fenian basta''

No. But then again apparently, I only have half a brain.

I said half a brain cell, don't flatter yourself ;)

How do you come to this conclusion? Have you spent much time in Scotland recently?

fuckin ell, i predict 10 pages of nonsense coming up.............................

fuckin ell, i predict 10 pages of nonsense coming up.............................

You're not wrong. The bloke conducts himself poorly but it's not because he's a plank, it's because British society is cruel to him.

He brought it on his self, did you see his reaction after the gers game. Arrogant prick he is never liked him. even when he played for the foxes

Which part did he bring on himself? The attack tonight, the death threats from terrorist organisations when he was a player or the live bombs etc?

Ok for a BOLTON forum with a CATHOLIC manager who doesn't drink why are we making this a sectarian thread. As said before I have had threats from both sides but it gets fucking stupid and I mean stupid half the crap on here
