Yes, I remember it.

 

Used to get taken there for a treated by my parents where they would buy me an 'ice-cream drink', which was basically a big glass of lemonade with a big dollop of ice cream in it!

I remember it as well. Must have closed in the 70s. Also remember the UCP (United Cow Products) Cafe on Newport Street as well.

A little known fact, me and Gubbins used to wear flared pants on building sites in the mid 70s, and we called them " Tognarellis ". Covered in plaster, mud, and human shite. Used to wear them over our jeans and fling them in the house we was working in after work.
