That's where I had us in first draft but got the bug now and really looking forward to the season now!! Hence my over optimism of 8th

Us relegated and the wallpushers winning it. Fk me, i cant think of anything worse. Id be close to suicide

11th

16th, any higher I'll crack the bubbly open

not to sure how the table win pan out. I hope out early games dont knock our confidence, and leave us to pick up few points off the teams we should beat with out eyes closed. I can honestly see blackburn going down this season, as i think they will sack keane and sturggle. I dont think Qpr are going to have the bottle to stay up and i think swansea will perish from the off. It remains to be seen.

No sign of any scarf/shirt/Reebok pics yet, so I'm sticking with 15th and hoping it gets better.

If we end up 'going with what we've got' (perish the thought), that'll be downgraded to 18th.

I'd be very happy with 14th or higher, safe at the beginning of April and I'll be knocking one out. UEFA Cup and I'll do every game, that's a promise :)

... and how many pints to get to this

United to walk it, City 2nd and Chelsea 3rd.

As for us, with a weakened side from last season[with what we have atm]with important players left or injured and with our difficult start, I'm not sure.

We could be playing catch up with players low on confidence, games will get easier, however if we don't improve our away form and get some players in to replace what Elmander, Sturridge and Lee did, then it's going to be a tough season.

We need Holden to return and return with the brilliance he showed that won him player of the season, getting in players like SWP and Tuncay will improve us a great deal, Pratley looks good and Petrov and Klasnic have had good pre-seasons, K.Davies has been scoring also, though only when the Prem starts will we know if they can step it up against better sides.

Positive thinking and hoping we'll bring in some quality, I'll go for 8-14, we are capable of playing some great stuff and the Bolton before Christmas could have beaten anyone in the league.

Negative thinking, from about early December 2010 to May 2011, Bolton were average, from April we were appalling[bar Arsenal] and we are a weaker side atm, so if we carry on from that then relegation could be very likely.

Feel confident about this season, even given the hard start. Top half for me.

On a side note, Bolton's first 4 games are all shown live on the various ESPN "Soccer" channels here! Bonus!!! I just set my DVR to record them.

You might get more interested if we don't strengthen the squad soon and end up in a relegation battle. Just saying, like.

If SKD & Klasnic up front and Eagles & Petrov out wide, with no meaningful cover, floats your boat ..... good on you.

However we're assured elsewhere on here that recruits are imminent, so let's see.

If we get the three , who strong rumours suggest we will, Tuncay, SWP,Ngog and the signings we already have 9th.

No, still not interested.

Granted there are concerns over the squad, but there are worse squads out there

Relegation won't be an issue for us, even after a poor start on paper. I do think though that the january transfer window will be key this season towards deciding the relegation dogfight.

So I'm keeping the faith
