It was a massive mistake by Arsene Wenger to sell Muamba.He's a fantastic player.

OK,I'll join in. He's had a couple of seasons learning his trade, and I think this season it will all fall into place. He's always got into scoring, well shooting positions but blasted them all over the show. This is the season he learns to keep his eye on the ball and keep his shots down.

I reckon injury free we're looking at at least seven or eight goals from midfield, plus plenty of assists.

Muamba is a cracking player when doing what he's comfortable with.

 

His problem is his mistakes seem to be either more noticeable or picked up on more often by the baying reebok masses.

Jules, YOU won't win them over; Muamba will. If he adds goals to his already proven talents, he'll be another one for us to spend ages debating how we'll spend the ?20mill we'll be getting for him next July!

I cant see him starting when Stu Holden returns, will be Stu and NRC in the middle. I can see Muamber being moved on if the right offer comes in, there was paper talk of Stoke at ?8m a couple of months back. At that dough OC would cash in.

 

So either way I cannot see him notching up 8 goals and plenty of assists (for us anyway).

When Stu Holden is fully fit who do you think OC will have as hisfirst choice 2 in the centre of midfield?

 

Its just my opinion but I think that when Stu Holden returns Muamber will not be in OC starting 11 as NRC and Stu would be first choice. If that is the case and other clubs are interested in FM then they may think it to be the right time to put an offer in.

 

If indeed Muamber was not going to be starting games and an offer of circa ?8m came in then I believe OC and PG would cash in.

I am fully with you and would like us to keep players for strength in depth. I would have liked us to keep Ali Al Habsi incase anything happened to Jussi and for when Jussi hangs up his boots however we where offered ?4m for a player who was not in OC first 11 so he cashed in so he could strenghten the team with the funds. For this reason I could see him doing the same SHOULD an offer come in for Fabrice.

 

We sold Ali Al Habsi to competition so I could see us doing the same again. Unfortunatly we do not have the spending power of City and cannot say that we will not sell to clubs in and around where we are.

 

Playing devils advocate I would say what if we turned down an ?8m offer for Fabrice for him to not get many games as he is third choice and him to walk on a free after running his contract down.

 

Just my opinion but I think if large offers come in for any player that are not in OC starting 11 then we would probably sell being in the financial situation we are in.

Fabrice wouldn't work in a Tony Pulis Stoke side as he can't cross or throw it dead far and he can't head for toffee.
