I'll not hold my breath.

The Holden nightmare will surely have the club erring on the side of caution.

And in years to come, the 47,576 who were on against Darlington in 1985 will be claiming they were there when Sean Davis played.

Agreed - we need to plan for the rest of this season without Holden or Lee. If either comes back sooner, that's a bonus.

Think it's fairly certain that I didn't travel up from London for the home game with Darlington in 1985, so count me out of that one. But I'm sure I once saw Sean Davis play for us ......

Chungy will not be rushed back, wishful thinking is early March.

Reality is he may not be seen this season.

Sorry Diddles et al

You saw Franck passi on the pitch

Don't think you could ever say you saw him play

He did a job for us no more no less, I still cant believe he played 40 odd games for us though

Worse players than him have probably played more games for us .......... something the fans who went to the Darlington game (& other games around that time) should be able to detail.

Too many players at this club out of contract at the end of the season. We did have a few sellable assets to make the club a few bob but now it`s very unlikely we`ll gewt much, if owt at all.

I fear for the future of the club I`ve supported all my life and I aint too keen on the way it`s currently run. It seems to me the club is resigned to championship footy next term. I hope I`m wrong but I cannot see a way out of this mess. As much as I like Owen Coyle, I`m not too keen on the back-room staff.

Agree with all of that. I hope the club have a contingency plan in place should we go down, and our existing players had clauses inserted into their contracts, taking into account a drop out of the Barclay's Premier League.

On the other hand, overrated, overpaid player are better out of contract.

We really dont want a 40m wage bill in the championship

All good and well saying we could sell players, but doubt anybody would be banging the door down for them.

Anyway, we're not going down so it's a moot point...............I hope

We could have had some decent returns on a few players had they been fit and under contract. Chungy must be worth a bit, Holden will be a valuable asset should the club decide to get rid. Knowing our club he`ll leave for peanuts.

Trouble ahead for Aston Villa we will have no Weater or Cahill it will happen slowly vut sadly it looks like we are down
