Bill Cosbys daughter's a right minx in that too. I'm not having you haven't seen most of those though.

Site Supporter barryk32 Posted December 4, 2011 Author Site Supporter Share Posted December 4, 2011 There are a lot I haven't seen (I've copied and pasted the titles as I wasn't fucking listing them to miss the ones I have) which is what drew me to it. I'm sure I've seen Arlington Rd and I have to be in the mood for a foreign one so Angel Heart is getting the nod.

cureforsanity
Agreed with NB about Angel Heart. Superb fillum and very atmospheric but yes, I got it quite early on. Saying that, it's still watchable just to find out what happens to him when HE finally finds out!

Youri McAnespie
Why the fuck would any film list have the remakes of Planet of the apes and The Wicker man rather than the originals Why remake films at all? If they were classic/good in the first place then why risk making a bastard? If they were average/shit there's arguably more of a valid reason (especially if they were based on a book or play) but still, why bother remaking? For example Stephen King hated Kubrick's 'The Shining', so he orchestrated the production of another, more faithful to the book version - how many people have actually seen this though? I see they're remaking Total Recall, I'll bet anything it'll be a pile of shite - like the following were; Planet of the Apes, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Psycho, The Italian Job, Get Carter, Bad Lieutenant, The Wicker Man (Nicholas Cage again, is he trying to corner the market in unnecessary remakes?) and around 1001 other exercises in futility.
