Site Supporter MickyD Posted December 13, 2011 Site Supporter Share Posted December 13, 2011 The linesman alongside west stand on saturday was a prick. He pulled Boyatta for a foul throw and then didn't bother pulling him up for the next two,, both within seconds of each other. He was also as close as he could be to an incident where he gave Bolton a goal kick. The ref, from about 25 yards away, correctly as it happens, changed it to a villa corner. Site Supporter MickyD Posted December 13, 2011 Site Supporter Share Posted December 13, 2011 lord knows what that makes boyata! I thought that myself. It would have been slightly more entertaining if he'd been pulled for all the foul throws just for the look he gave the linesman after being pulled for the first one. It was a "What? Me? Foul throw? Never!" kind of a look.
Mike Hunt
When told he had made a school boy error, he turned and told the Bolton fan to fuck off!
Peter North
Excellent piece from James Lawton of the Independent. Sums the game up rather well... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/james-lawton-but-for-the-referee-spurs-would-have-outshone-robots-of-the-potteries-6276190.html
