  1. Just popped up on my FB memories. Was a brilliant effort from this site, as always. Not bad for a bunch that at the time were labelled "vile, racist, druggie thugs" Not often on here nowadays, but always grateful for the support you have given over the years

    Frank Turner couple of weeks back as a welcome back. Neighbourhood Weekender was belting - Gerry Cinnaamon, K's, Sherlocks, Jake Bugg, She'd Seven, Sam Fender, James, Lathums, Inhaler, Miles Kane, Wombats and chose Heaton and Abbott over Catfish. Few new bands to see too, The Clause and The Goa Express on the new band stage were very good Courteeners x 2 OMD James / Happy Mondays Gerry Cinnamon Eeeerrrr, McFly
  5. Was good to be back at a gig on Saturday, missed that. Frank Turner at the Apollo, superb. Roll on Neighbourhood Weekender in a couple of week now

One of my first nights out in town, walking back to Little Lever about 15 of us lined both lanes of St Petes at Moses Gate and waited for the headlights before everyone mooned the car approaching us at 70....... to find it was a police car..... luckily driven by a mates dad (unlucky for my mate!)

  15. Never met or seen any artist that is more fan focused. Middles of a sold out tour he sent daughter a video birthday message. Met him and he took time to speak as long as you want, chatted about a set list we got signed. Top bloke.

  20. Tried but not grabbed me. Didnt get them live at Heaton Park on the Courteeners and James bill either.
  21. Barrons up on Chorley Old Road have some belting sausage. Fat Bob's take some beating, chilli dog if you like a bit of spice, pork and black pudding.
