Coyle Passion Challenge

Rules are simple, find a photo of Owen Coyle while at Bolton showing some passion during a game.

Not many around, I've found one though.

  • This player is the key difference for us this season !! I do not believe Owen Coyle has become a bad manager over night .. This situation is nothing to do with passion , we've had a lot of bad luck

I don't think coyles passion for the club is questionable.

Getting the players to do what he wants is:

He's lots of things but i dont buy this - he shows passion on the side lines geeing up the players plenty from where I'm sat as for tactical changes and tips that's the problem, but i hated the way megson barked rants from the side line sunday league style - if you need to do that the horse has bolted

I don't think coyles passion for the club is questionable.

Agreed.

Come to the conclusion he has passion then? Good, so why can't he pass this onto the players?

This situation is nothing to do with passion , we've had a lot of bad luck and haven't got the quality of players left to do the job . W e only have to hope we get some decent players who CAN do the job in January .. In conclusion , i think it's the players we have that are just not good enough , not Owen's mangement skills.

Great post. Some of the spoilt brat fans should think about the the hand Owen Coyle has been dealt.

so his perseverance with 4-4-2 aint his fault

his chopping and changing by the week (in fact, half way into games) aint his fault

his scapegoating certain players aint his fault

his picking the wrong team, week in, week out, aint his fault

Messing about with team formations with this lot is rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. There isn't a Premier League team in the group of available players.Whatever team is picked doesn't have enough attacking quality.

It's a combination of the two which is proving a lethal cocktail.

Boyata, Wheater, Eagles, Petrov, Pratley, NRC, Ngog, Tuncay are all cards that coyle picked remember and none of them are injured.

Are you the fat kit man?

If Coyle cannot get Bolton to compete at the top end of the Championship next season I will reassess. Not before then.
