My moonman mate wants me to order him some tickets for the game on Saturday as he has no previous ticket history, he's a liverpool fan but the two lads he wants tickets for are Bolton fans

 

Now, I have history or ordering so no problem but I leave the country tomorrow

 

So, if I order for him and use my card, can he just pick the tickets up from the box office or does he have to produce my card?

Think the rule is you need the cardholder to pick up, and they always seem to ask me for my credit card before handing over the tickets. They might get lucky with less of a jobsworth on the desk i suppose

I'm not sure it's really jobsworthy to ask for some sort of ID when picking up tickets when someone's paid for them.

that is where you are wrong. it is like them cunts on trains who demand to see your ticket. i mean who do they think they are. you can add traffic wardens to that giving you a ticket when on yellow lines.

I've paid for tickets over the phone and had someone else pick them up. Just told them the name of the person picking them up, they show ID and get tickets no problem

I ordered some tickest for the Newcastle game for my mate who's son was over from Japan, ordered online and printed them out, that's even easy for me!!
