I've worked with Mark Gilman a lot over rthe last 14 years, he is a sound bloke and really does know his stuff, if you have ever seen any of Lifelines cartoon type literature, he is responsible for it

 

At first I thought you meant he was involved with BWFC Lifeline, not the organisation in Manchester. I came across his essay a good few years back and thought it was interesting - certainly interesting enough to save a text file of it all those years ago.
