February 3, 201214 yr Yes instead of Eagles, probably be a sub for a bit though, once Holden comes back, who drops out? NRC or Muamba?
February 3, 201214 yr Lee when fit beats Eagles hands down. I'm fairly sure Eagles came in to cover Lee obviously before his injury. Also, I'd perhaps start Muamba NRC and M.Davies and bring Holden on after half time for possibly Muamba for the remainder of this season.
February 3, 201214 yr According to his recent tweet, Holden is back with the Septics for the next 2 months, doing Rehabilitation work near Philly can't see him back this season at that rate.
February 4, 201214 yr Davies may well be a million miles from an England place but he would be a damn sight nearer if he played for a London Premiership team. A clich? but all too true. He'd only be about 200 miles nearer or 0.02%
February 4, 201214 yr He's a class player who will earn his international spurs at some point but I doubt it'll be with us, sadly
February 4, 201214 yr He's a class player who will earn his international spurs at some point but I doubt it'll be with us, sadly Don't say that, otherwise Tylswhite will be on saying something about someone else putting the ball in the net for him!?!
February 4, 201214 yr He's a class player who will earn his international spurs at some point but I doubt it'll be with us, sadly Has he got Irish, Welsh or Scottish relatives, then?
February 4, 201214 yr Holden and Davies centre mid together in a 4-4-2 would be a massive gamble: it could be immense or fucking horrific.... I'd wager with our wide men mainly the latter We tried it last season, seem to remember it really not working v Blackburn, in fact Davies getting sent off meant mumba came on and we actually improved That may have been the only game we tried it though so probably not a good benchmark I do though think if we play wingers like we do we can't accommodate him in 4-4-2, and playing him on the right doesn't work so has to be 4-5-1 for us to get the best out of him
