Perhaps he was having a dig

Wouldn't put it past him even today.

You can imagine he's been practicing it in front of the bathroom mirror for weeks though.

Exactly, have to just concern ourselves with BWFC now is there 1 or 2 Blackpool players we should be looking at?

Problem is they are in better financial shape than us so it's more likely to be the other way round.

Glad about this. West Ham would have been a nuisance in the Championship next season.

Also glad because I cannot stand Blackpool and their petty Bolton hating. Looking forward to going to Bloomfield and seeing our first win there since 78.

Do we honestly think any of their players would leave them to come to us? Are we that much bigger than them?

I really don't think we are.

We pay bigger wages and of course were a bigger club, with better facilties set up and even with 15 players released a better team, tell me what have blackool done in the last 60 years? There absolutely light years behind BWFC, cannot even believe you can question that.

Well you can hate BSA all you like but he is a proven manager at whatever level in this country and the most successful we have had in the last 50 years. Gets the job done. Blackpool played well but the other Phillips lad should hang his head in shame at missing all those chances.

No chance, they don't pay decent wages could not afford our players wages, name one player in our squad who would even remotely consider a move there, I will tell you a big fat zero.

OK, maybe I worded it badly. I really don't think we are SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than them though. At least not in a Man U are bigger than Wigan type of difference anyway.

In my eyes were a fair bit bigger we go to there ground and swamp it always have done our history over the last 40 years they cannot hold a candle to Bolton, only 1 season in top flight and most of them spent in Div 3 and 4.

aint it ironic our spot has been filled by a manager and a team full of players gartside most of our fans thought wasnt good enough for bolton

corrected for you.

From my understanding, it's the manager's job to make that call. Or the players if they are out of contract.

Obviously, all our fans thought Nolan was a fat hasbeen, Taylor was a lazy gayboy and Vaz Te would never amount to anything.

i'd have nolan, o'brien, faye and big sam back anyday

they may have not to have been thought good enough by the incumbent managers and some fans at the time of their departures, but fuck me they had more spunk in their balls than the spineless wimps who gaily skipped around in the white shirts this season and the god botherer on the sidelines

I think most of us would but Bolton won't pay for the top managers. All we can do is take a young manager on and hope he becomes a top manager like Big Sam did.
