Open Letter to Owen Coyle,

 

Dear Owen, despite maskerading as a manager for about 18 months too long, the vast majority of Bolton fans can now see straight through you. Your lastest debacle of losing 3-0 to a team that only has 7 players on its books is an absolute joke. I understand that if you resign half of your family and friends will also join the dole queue,

I feel that in your place a panel of managers including myself, barryk32, anewman and next doors cat could actually do a better job than you,

We've all heard rumours about your brilliant training techniques, that being 8 a side and just that, which to be quite honest the local school offers better training than that. Managing to loose a goalkeeping coach that has produced 3 Premiership goal keepers and is widely regarded as one of the best in the business is a step of brilliance, and despite having one of the best coaches around in Sammy Lee, he gets relegated to the youth system, a youth system that will never be utilised as its easier to let some no hoper released by Burnley steal a living.

It might be true that you have lowered the wage bill and average age, but once again had I been in charge I could have hired the local sixth form and they still would have played with more passion and heart than your brilliant bunch of dispassionate shite.

Once again I cannot believe how you can get such bad results from class players, Marvin Sordell could have walked past me in the street and I wouldn't recognise him due to his lack of playing time for Bolton, however Pearce seems quite happy to take him to the Euro's,

I dont know how many combined playing minutes these two got between them last season but I'd guess it would be somewhere between fuck all and not a lot.
