Hes a decent player, a good prem player, no world beat, not even top draw, but a good prem player. You should be looking at getting as much as possible, hard being in div1 though. £6 million would prob be about right !

August 8, 201214 yr Not convinced you need a team of battlers. And what happens then if we come up? What will these battlers do in the prem. Having said that id probably sell for 8m (as long it doesnt mean Pratley in the first 11), i wouldnt for 4m.

It seems injuries were his main problem so a low fee and a percentage of any future transfer fee was a good deal for both us and Wolves.

Built a team/formation around him though, not sure we would do that for Davies. Still wouldn't sell him mind, he's better than we've seen so far. He just needs to be more intelligent in his game.

You're quite right there, but you can't help feel they take a huge part of what we've done developing him. I understand why these moves are setup, ie we could prob only afford to pay 1 mill at the time. He was a bit of a gamble etc. It's just 1 clause ill always negotiate out of on champ man(no relevance to real life I know) as say we paid another 500k and clinched him we'd be looking at potentially 6.5 mill profit rather than 3mill.

It's a strange argument from me this when I can't make my mind up on whether he's good or not. My brother watches us from afar on Tele saying to me he'll be at real soon and I sit there struggling to remember he's even playing at times despite his flashes of brilliance.
