September 10, 201213 yr Not a good start for the Steelers. Manning was pretty damn good tbf. Roethlisberger still getting sacked far far too often. The bucs run defence was fucking impenetrable against Cam and crew.
September 10, 201213 yr Packers were a bit shit last night. I noticed the top tiers were empty as well, I thought there was a massive waiting list for tickets to games? Unless it was tiers currently being constructed/refurbished. Edited September 10, 201213 yr by bwfcdan

The bucs run defence was fucking impenetrable against Cam and crew. Thats just the way Roethlisberger plays. He likes to play inside the pocket therefore he relies on protection. The sacks he got on the final drive were all caused by relentless pressure from the Broncos blitz. Both QBs had good games to be honest, both drive yardage was just about equal, however the steelers couldnt cope with the constant blitz from the Broncos. Hence the late sacks on Ben and the late interception. Roethlisberger used all his experience to move the steelers. Fake throws, little tosses and big bombs. He made them all work. Shows he still has it, but so did Manning. RG3 impressed on his debut. Sorry Gaarp. Sanchez was on drugs for Jets. Rookie of the day, Blair Walsh. Or am i biased. 55 yard FG to take the game into extra time, after time had expired took some balls. SKOL All the best to Devon Walker.

Unless it was tiers currently being constructed/refurbished. There you go mate. Empty seats at Lambeau Field does not occur without good reason. http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/article_spofford/article-1/Mild-winter-aids-Lambeau-construction/8488293d-9251-40a8-a93b-152ac318e5b7
September 11, 201213 yr My team eagles were lucky against the browns. Vick threw 4 interceptions. Eagles Ravens is the game of the weekend for me. Interesting to see if the Eagles can step up against the ravens. Dont know if they will be able to handle ray rice.

Interesting to see if the Eagles can step up against the ravens. Dont know if they will be able to handle ray rice. I never really rated Joe Flacco, but he was immense against the Bungles. If he can keep up those levels of performance for the rest of the season and with Ray Rice as well, they could be unstoppable.
September 13, 201213 yr Rookie of the day, Blair Walsh. Or am i biased. 55 yard FG to take the game into extra time, after time had expired took some balls. SKOL Just spotted your praise of Blair Walsh, as a Georgia Dawgs fan I'm glad to see him do well. He makes the big pressure kicks but has a frustrating habit of missing the simple 20yd chip shots.
September 16, 201213 yr Author I backed saints to win by 7-12 points Useless twats. Brees is soft as shit. Why is the panthers stadium half empty?
September 16, 201213 yr Eagles beat Ravens 24-23. First 2-0 start since 04. Still too many turnovers, Vick being the main culprit. Great game.
September 16, 201213 yr Good win for the Steelers tonight.. Offence looked excellent Roethlisberger threw to 10+ different receivers. 4 different players at rb. Just need to get the turnovers on defence.
September 17, 201213 yr The bears despatched themselves tbf. Well that and Clay Matthews being a fucking beast.
September 17, 201213 yr The bears despatched themselves tbf. Well that and Clay Matthews being a fucking beast. Texans are looking good, Denver next week wiil be a big test
September 18, 201213 yr The NFL and Refs Assoc need to come up with a solution to their issues and fast. These replacement refs are ruining the season. Some of the calls and flag throwing beggar belief. If whats been reported is correct, the NFL have scheduled these 'refs' for at least another three weeks. Last night was a feckin joke!

Some of the calls and flag throwing beggar belief. If whats been reported is correct, the NFL have scheduled these 'refs' for at least another three weeks. Last night was a feckin joke! The refs at the Steelers v Jets game got a good 15 minute booing for a pass interference penalty against ike Taylor. That was despite the fact Taylor was 5yds from the receiver Santonio Holmes.
September 19, 201213 yr The refs at the Steelers v Jets game got a good 15 minute booing for a pass interference penalty against ike Taylor. That was despite the fact Taylor was 5yds from the receiver Santonio Holmes. They are not up to the pressure that NFL games produce. In a way it is not their fault. In other words they are doing the best they can. But thats the problem in a nutshell. Its like comparing Sunday league with Premier league. The rules are the same but players and officials act differently. We all complain about referees but when the NFL referees make a controversial decision at least they are doing it quickly. The replacements on Monday night turned the first quarter into an hour. Taking 6 minutes just to sort out a fumble recovery, overturning 4 on the field decisions (IIRC). Along with phantom Pass interference calls and unjustified personal fouls, its all becoming a joke.
September 23, 201213 yr Garrp what the Fuck is going on in Louisiana? Cracking win for the Vikings over the niners.
September 25, 201213 yr Sad times in the Who Dat Nation Frank Im expecting us to raise our game against the Packers though and get back on track.....
September 25, 201213 yr The Steelers D or lack of it along with far too many penalties and 2 very costly fumbles ruined an excellent night for Rapey Ben on Sunday. Yet to see the packers Seahawks game looking forward to the controversial finish.
