little bit about me

1st match was in the 69/70 season when i was 3 nearly 4(0-0 draw at burnden)

been a season ticket holder ever since

best time i had was thru the dismal years of the late 70s and all the way thru 80s

think i only missed 1 home game and went to every away game in that time (league cups on a tues night an all)

well im bored of it so u must be

 

a lot of people on here was saying at the start of season give coyle 10 games

well they r up and we have 11 points-- do we give him another 5

imo we have to get rid whilst weve got 2 weeks break

also why did everyone say when coyle came that he was a legend

he played 2 full seasons and got a 12 goals --- that is not a legend in my eyes

ive not heard any coyle out chanting at any match this season( except for a few -- which can hardly be heard)

but reading the forums 95% want coyle out

also i will get slated for this but megson was more successful than coyle by along way and gave us more things to shout about

he was just a dick with the supporters---but the way coyle has been reported to say that we as supporters no nothing(calling us thick)

thats riled me more than megson in his few years with us( ffs weve had 3 shite managers since big sam--- coyle being far the worse)

whats coyle given us since he came -- taking us to wembley --- thanks owen thats the best memory ive got-- and i stayed to the end as well

In fairness Michael, it was easy to read his comments and get the impression that he was calling the fans stupid / misinformed.

 

His basic attitude seemed to be that if you're not from a footballing background, your opinion is worth shite.

 

It was almost Gartside-esque (when he said people who know football etc...)

I didn't read it like that. I read it that he was saying that even if you shout your opinion loudest it still doesn't make it right.

I was one of the give him 10 games brigade.

I'm a massive advocate of sticking with a manager to turn it round, and I still expect and think he will do. Having said that, he can have no complaints if Eddie and Garty decide we need to try something else.

This is where I am too in regards Coyle, but he needs to lose the stubborness and loyalty and fuck his friends and family off, and bring in experienced coaches to help him, the current backroom team will definitely be his downfall, ffs Coyle we all want you to succeed, but lose the losers.

You may be right, but without working behind the scenes, you can't really back that comment up. Maybe the backroom team is good but Coyle is the problem. Just playing devils advocate there.

Not saying it is or it isnt down to them, and according to Coyle people in football and all that, but from a person watching inside from the outside it appears they offer nothing during the game, wether they offer anything during training we can only speculate.

The backroom team seem to be easy targets on here. The players themselves should be taking a lot more stick in my opinion. I don't like picking on individuals but Matt Mills and Adam Bogdan are liabilities in my opinion. And Mark Davies, undoubtedly a good player, has no appetite for a battle. Our forwards are not good enough to be in a top championship side, aside from Kev Davies. Our fanscomplwtely under rated this league, a.d are now getting the wake up call.

Bogdan is awful.
