October 31, 201213 yr was dissapointed with the second triology that set beofre the first, but Star Wars, Emipre and Jedi are Classics for me.
October 31, 201213 yr Chill out Ted Mosby --- Star Wars are all right, but I do think they're overrated a tad, they could do so much better with the technology available now. Always seem to be the most common on them movie mistakes programmes too, The Family Guy ones were cool. Didles, if you were my age you would absolutely love them; I have to be honest, but I prefer that old clumsy style to alot of CGI stuff nowadays - I think the lack of CGI is a reason why folk love Bond too.....some films can look "too slick"......take Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter for example; the CGI scenes in that are just too "computery" - it looks daft. Not saying technological advances aren't always cool like. Apparently when I could barely talk (not last Saturday) one of the first things I used to ask for were "danger toys"; it transpires that was Star Wars stuff. And I used to have an ace chewbacca outfit with his belt made from Kellogg's miniature boxes painted black. Happy days being a kid in the 80's Still gutted my Mum sent my Millenium Falcon / AT AT etc to the charidee shop

As Jules has alluded to the childhood memories of the millenium falcon, characters etc etc are priceless and nostalgic. While let down with the follow up trilogy it provided a basis to share with my lads and re-live it all again. I await with interest (and I'd be lying if I didn't say a little excitement) the next addition.

November 1, 201213 yr I've haven't got the Blurays as I bought it on VHS, remake on VHS, VCD and DVD. So I'm waiting for the 3D hologram version.

November 1, 201213 yr I've seen Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back countless times, I don't think I've ever watched Return of the Jedi all the way through though since I saw it at the cinema all those years ago. November 1, 201213 yr They also have bought the rights to the Indiana Jones franchise. Did they not already have them? The Indiana Jones show was a feature at DisneyWorld.
