seasider Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Blackpool fan in peace. If I may just ask a couple of questions to help with our match preview thread on www.backhenrystreet.co.uk 1) What do you think of the appointment of Dougie Freedman? 2) Appointing Dougie Freedman has indirectly made us lose Holloway. What do you think of Appleton as an appointment? 3) Who is your main attacking threat? 4) Do you fear any Blackpool players? 5) How many Bolton fans will be coming? 6) Do you treat this as a local derby? I am sure you all know that some Blackpool fans hate Bolton for an event that occurred a long time ago. Bolton are often referred to as 'The Murderers'. Does this have any significance on the fixture for Bolton fans or is it mainly one way with Blackpool hating Bolton. Thanks in advance. If you would like to join our forum for some banter, please feel free - we are quite away friendly although Bolton could be a challenge

seasider Posted November 8, 2012 Author Posted November 8, 2012 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Muckers Scroll down to Kevin Olsson. Not sure why it's part of the Muckers but I suppose football related violence will all group together with hooliganism.

Wikipedia is often known to be inaccurate, I am going to need a more credible source.

So far so good, talks the part anyway! 2) Appointing Dougie Freedman has indirectly made us lose Holloway. What do you think of Appleton as an appointment We were linked quite closely in the run up to us appointing Freedman, without wanting to piss on your chips,I was less than happy with this link. 3) Who is your main attacking threat? Chris Eagles 4) Do you fear any Blackpool players? Tom Ince, hes a little tricky fucker. 5) How many Bolton fans will be coming? Sold out 6) Do you treat this as a local derby? I am sure you all know that some Blackpool fans hate Bolton for an event that occurred a long time ago. Bolton are often referred to as 'The Murderers'. Does this have any significance on the fixture for Bolton fans or is it mainly one way with Blackpool hating Bolton. I cant stand you lot,but I live in Blackpool so Im biased Thanks in advance. Matt Lofthouse Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 1) Underwhelmed at first, but will be given time. 2) On the cheap (oyston). 3) Eagles and petrov. 4) Phillips (both) especially that little fucker if he plays. 5) As many as that tin pot stand allows. (Sold out) 6) No not at all. PNE interest me more.

Nice to see the PNE hatred flowing to Horwich.

Nice to see the PNE hatred flowing to Horwich. I doubt you'll bring 5,000 this time around, shit support. You lot always bang on about being bigger than Preston, you ain't. And that's a fact.

seasider Posted November 8, 2012 Author Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Currently we are about the same size but our away support is notoriously known to be better than the Nobbers. Bet you any money we will take 5,000 to Bolton and Blackburn this season. Shame Preston are not in our division as we would take another 5,000 to their place which they wouldn't to us even if we had a stand big enough! Yours is hardly great considering the biggest town in England! Edited November 8, 2012 by seasider

no balls Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Bet you any money we will take 5,000 to Bolton and Blackburn this season. Because it's your cup final.

Our lowest turnout there for donkeys (excuse the pun) and one that is quite frankly embarrassing. Poor form, 5.30 kick off on Sky... It's unfortunately the way these days. Arousing 2) Appointing Dougie Freedman has indirectly made us lose Holloway. What do you think of Appleton as an appointment? Shite manager joining a shite club 3) Who is your main attacking threat? Everyone 4) Do you fear any Blackpool players? Ha... 5) How many Bolton fans will be coming? We're taking over 6) Do you treat this as a local derby? seasider Posted November 8, 2012 Author Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Your average away attendance is about the same as ours and that's only because of your good turnout at Burnley. If our match with Burnley wasn't on Sky, ours would be better. Fact! Not bad considering we have further to travel each match and a smaller size town. What's your excuse? Big_Sharps Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Your average away attendance is about the same as ours and that's only because of your good turnout at Burnley. If our form was decent and not on Sky, ours would be better. Fact! We're too big for this league and are saving our money for next season. xxxx
