November 12, 201213 yr F*cking unsung King of the junk foods. May as well stick it up yer jumper and be done with it... That said, I'm still going to eat the remaining baguettes in the bread crock
November 12, 201213 yr Franny won't like it, but you can't knock a few chips on some heavily buttered Orange Warbies
November 12, 201213 yr Author That's the problem, all the food that requires white bread is bad for you an' all...Chip butties, pizza butties, lobby/'ash butties, cheese butties, bacon butties, crisp butties, crusty bread and butter etc. Edited November 12, 201213 yr by Youri McAnespie
November 12, 201213 yr That's the problem, all the food that requires white bread is bad for you an' all...Chip butties, pizza butties, lobby/'ash butties, cheese butties, bacon butties, crisp butties, crusty bread and butter etc. and most importantly, fish fingers and mushy peas butty. (with full fat butter) although, that's probably one of my more healthy meals thinkin about it.
November 12, 201213 yr I like it, it's not right keen on me though these days. Soughdough, I like that n'all. (too poncey?)
November 13, 201213 yr so many decent breads knocking about, and people seem to have this fixation with white Warbies bread. philistines.
November 13, 201213 yr Franny won't like it, but you can't knock a few chips on some heavily buttered Orange Warbies Must agree I've always loved white "fluffy" bread My missus thinks it's #vile Probably why she's thin and I'm not Having said that, it's a rare-ish treat for me these days. It doesn't seem to feel as right in the stomach as it once did....maybe I'm changing with age? Was at a wedding on the Wirral at the weekend and a Scouse bridesmaid was complaining at breakfast that she wanted "warbies" bread because she couldn't make a proper butty with what was provided........which was actually really nice granary type stuff. Made even me feel food-sophisticated
November 13, 201213 yr Franny... If it was a game of football between white bread vs Wholemeal bread. What would the score be?
November 13, 201213 yr vile, and all warbies is shite. I'm with you Franny, I think Warbies is soft doughy shite.

November 13, 201213 yr Author Warbies is doffy and tasteless, but as someone said earlier, makes good toast - especially for beans on toast or with a boiled egg. It's also good for use as a Lancashire Chappati - i.e. on the side with some traditional stodge, for butty making (this will prove anyone's worming class credentials ). But as for making 'real' sandwiches or anything else, no thanks... Edit: Crisp butties must be with Warbies also. Edited November 13, 201213 yr by Youri McAnespie
November 13, 201213 yr Crisp butties must be made wih Walkers cheese and onion. No other crisps come near on a butty!
November 13, 201213 yr I've decided after reading this I will not touch a morsel of bread till the new year. Warbies Out!
November 13, 201213 yr I've decided after reading this I will not touch a morsel of bread till the new year. Warbies Out! All bread? "Baps Out" as well then surely
November 13, 201213 yr I would find it impossible to live without bread so fair play if you manage this! My preferred choice is wholemeal and seeded - you can't beat it.
November 13, 201213 yr All bread? "Baps Out" as well then surely All bread. That's it. Talking to Pepperami last week he's been a bit of an inspiration. Not the tail tales, the food tales. Get your Cobs Out! & Durkin., if you see me munching on a bread based item punch me, ta.
