I did, but the dog kept wandering in at the crucial moment.

 

He's a border collie cum Labradoodle now.

The smokin ban helped me - went from smokin 3 a pint (that was only 9 a night cos I'm a lightweight) to giving up cos I couldn't be arsed to stand outside and get wet or cold or more often than not both!!

 

Nine pints and 27 cigarettes is hardly lightweight - if you added a whiskey chaser with every pint you'd be quite hardcore, every night mind.

Day 4 for me now and no real problems. My mate, however, lasted till the walk back to the train station at Leeds.

Friday was a real struggle though. I reckon I'd have found it easier if I'd gone out. It was the drive home knowing I'd be sat in all night that was really tempting me.

 

Somehow keeping busy is the key.

Went out on Saturday, and although it was hard, it wasnt as bad as expected. Given me real confidence that i can quit for good!

I'm a dwarf, I have strong perfumes for such and eventuality and if I don't want to look a twat sat on my own in the corner with a half of mild I have to sit in those smooking sheds. Ner.
