Over 12,500 v Preston, but carry on.

Coventry seem to have increased their fan base since moving to the new stadium. Fair play.

They were always one of the poorest supported top flight clubs in the 80s, early 90s, 15,000 averages.

It's all down to regular five quid tickets.

Like Bradford then

Did,nt we used to do,Kid 4 a Quid and adult,s a fiver.

Aye, Jimmy Savile loved it.

A full evening's entertainment for a tenner.

I wonder if The Who will offer a similar deal for their upcoming tour?

Yes, it was called the 1980s.

FWIW, their best League gate was on NYD v Shrewsbury which I covered for Town. There were 15,000 on. 1,500 travelled from Shropshire. At the game in Shrewsbury in September (Tuesday night) they were larging it about our ground not being big enough to hold the travelling army. 610 of the buggers turned up, for a game that's an hour away! Oh aye, and they all fucked off after an hour cos they were 4-0 down! Shit fans (unless it's a fiver to get in)

Never should have left Highfield there was 50k on every week and the atmosphere was always rocking.

If Wyman was still with The Rolling Stones then I would have thought that they would.

Good work, Corpy.

Official attendance maybe but there was normally 70000 plus on for most games (not including women and children)

Its like the reebok but without a train station, difficult to get to without driving. They hope crowds will increase when the old train line re opens.
