July 3, 201313 yr No loss as he's nowhere near your best player He's not, but that's not to say he's not an excellent batter. He's also far better than anyone we could call up from the seconds to replace him. He's a very good bowler too ... but for some reason hardly been given a chance with the ball this season. He's still young and will only get better. It'd be a real shame for someone as good as him and who came up through the juniors to leave at this stage. Hopefully he'll have a re-think... July 4, 201313 yr I played in a "work" match last night. Quite a few decent Club cricketers playing on both teams however the opponents had brought in Phil Mustard of Durham as a ringer! A reminder or the gulf between good club cricketers and these guys. Top bloke and stayed on to neck a few pints afterwards. He could have done so beforehand and still battered us single-handed.
