He's also far better than anyone we could call up from the seconds to replace him. He's a very good bowler too ... but for some reason hardly been given a chance with the ball this season. He's still young and will only get better. It'd be a real shame for someone as good as him and who came up through the juniors to leave at this stage. Hopefully he'll have a re-think... Quite a few decent Club cricketers playing on both teams however the opponents had brought in Phil Mustard of Durham as a ringer! A reminder or the gulf between good club cricketers and these guys. Top bloke and stayed on to neck a few pints afterwards. He could have done so beforehand and still battered us single-handed. Quote
