Eyup, Bibis Going Home

...last night to attend Ricardo's leaving do.

apparently Ricardo is on his way back to Jamaica.

As well as Big Sam, Jussi was there, eating and drinking like there was no tomorrow, a few others from that time, Muamba and most of the first team squad.

Ricardo, an un-sung hero from a great period in our history!

Would one of the mods change the title to Ricardo at the Reebok please. Fat head always has to take the limelight.

Made you look though didn't it? (insert raspberry blowing smiley)

Btw SKD was not in attendance

Remember him turning up on the drive-through when I worked at KFC, window rolled down of this massive wagon he was driving around in and a cloud of smoke rose up out of it revealing a car full of his boys. Was like the scene in Predator 2 - "want some ganja man?!"

Incidentally I remember Michael Ricketts coming in once and having a bargain bucket to himself not too long after getting hauled off in a Worthington Cup tie.

Good luck to Ricardo in the future, scored some great and very memorable goals for us

Pretty sure he (and all the Jamaican team of 98) got given loads of expensive land in Jamaica as a gift for making it to the world cup

Are you not thinking of them Cool Runnings blokes?

Ricardo Gardners cousin served me a strawberry daiquiri on my honneymoon in Jamaca.

FACT.

He could grow some fine crops there, some of the finest coffee in the World comes from Jamaica. ;)

A true servant to BWFC, a rarity in a one-club player (OK not technically but...) all the best to Bibi from a whole town and beyond.

Was a really, really good full back at his best, one of the top 3 or 4 in the premier league IMO

Good luck to him

No it was in a book I read about the reggae boys....one love I think it was called

One love is all we need.

I love him to bits and i'm filling up here, what a sad day for him, the club and all of us

Good luck Ricky :give_rose:

I went to WBA for a night match when he (I think) made his debut and scored a last minute winner, took an instant shine to him. Didn't score as often as he should and his end product wasn't always great but the way he played the game meant he was always one of my favourites.

Good luck to the lad - great memories

And they named some sauce after them. So good they named it twice, too.

I love the bloke, good luck to him
