It is if your in the 'I'll just go down for the day out' category.

You simply wouldn't bother.

There's a massive section in the Wigan end that's empty (look near to Wigans right back position)

Regarding corporate tickets, one of my mates has 2 x Club Wembley tickets, and he's not bothered going today, he also decided he couldn't be arsed advising that his tickets could be allocated elsewhere, as he hates Man City and he didn't want to risk his tickets going to one of their fans

Wouldn't fancy playing this Wigan team next season. They might be playing infront of 11k but they'd be a threat like this.

They wouldn't be playing like this week in, week out next season. If they played this well all the time, they wouldn't be in the bottom 3.....but they are because they are pretty shit in the main

I'm inclinded to agree with Chris, they wouldn't lose to many players and have a good team. Much rather Newcastle or Sunderland come down.

Not so sure, they seem to know how to play 352 which will cause some teams problems.

Also, I hope davies and sordell are watching kone. That mon knows how to link up and he's on his fucking own. Lazy twats

i think they would lose players, but for good money

kones off, scharners back to germany

midfield could be decimated

they'll have parachute money and thats why i think they'll be strong

Boooo

I know its a gutter. A team on no egos could settle quickly. Saying that they do look like a team of poofters so might not be up for the physicalities of the championship. Hope that's better.

Do they have good players??

I'm struggling to pick any who I'd even have in our team. McCarthur, Kobe and mcmanaman are the stars I reckon. Bet not move for more than 4m in the summer. If at all.

They just play well as an attacking team, which I think is more down to Martinez than any individuals.

Hold on, Newcastle and Sunderland both have squads that are far superior to Wigans.

If Wigan get relegated by more than just goal difference does that make our team that got relegated better than theirs?

I don't get this Wigan love in, the majority of their players are toss. They've got a few good players and a good manager who will be off if they're relegated anyway. They'd be back down to 11k crowds and don't have the backing that Newcastle/Sunderland have to buy their way back up.

They've had a good first half here granted, but they also had a woeful 2nd half at home to a Swansea team who have been on the beach for a few months already which has meant that they will probably now be relegated.

I want them down, a good away day and the least likely of everyone coming down to challenge next season.

The segregation on the bottom tier doesn't appear to be 50/50.

Have they given City more tickets or something?

Yes, City got 31K and Wiggin got 23K

The keeper is only on loan as well, so he'll be going. I would have thought that both McManaman and Maloney would want out as well

You are correct, but I believe the French entourage of Newcastle won't acclimatise to the championship and the games I've seen Sunderland this season, they are rubbish. Not so much a Wigan love in, more I believe they will pick themselves up quicker.

Regarding how I compare our relegated team to theirs, any team that goes down is Shit really so I'd say both are/were poor if they fall through the trap door.

Skd leaving means we can do away with knobber names like cravies meaning Craig Davies is now Davies.

As mark Davies is injured we'll address 'mavies' when he's back.

More to the point is Al habsi available?

Fair enough, the Wigan love in part wasn't aimed specifically at you as there seems to be a general consensus that they are a good team, when the reality is they are going to be relegated which like you say means they are shit, just like we were when we went down.

I understand what you mean about Newcastle but I still think they would just buy their way back up, plus they've got the experience of doing it just a few seasons ago.

Sunderland would be less threatening but still have more resources and would probably lose less players than Wigan will
