Flannel Truscott Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 The league 1 play off final is 6 days before the champions league final. Weren't they at OT last time the champs league final was at wembley? Wonder why they arent this time? Quote
miamiwhite Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 im hoping city's class will prevail but getting a nagging feeling that wigan will lift the cup Quote
Casino Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 well, beers chillin and i'm going to be all over this Quote
Garrp Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Im boycotting it If the pie eating twats manage to pull it off, I want no part of it in my memory. If I hear they are 3 down, il be all over it. Quote
Casino Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 city - 3 and -2 then i'm gonna put it on the bastards going down Quote
Breightmet Boy Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I reckon the same as Roy Keane, tree-tree then City win in extra time. Quote

Sweep Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Adrian Chiles says it feels like a traditional cup final day this. I beg to differ. I'm refusing to watch the bawbag faced cunt, I've got ESPN on instead Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 The Champions League Final has to be played on a pitch which has not been used for the previous fortnight so as Wembley is hosting it then the final has to be moved forward to a weekend of league fixtures so it cannot kick off at 3. I trust next year will be a 3pm kick off & the last match of the season. Fuck the champions league final Quote

enzo gambaro Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 We've fallen a long way if Wigan have got so many folk rattled. Griping over lost magic in one breath before shouting for the richest club in the league in the next is surely missing the point a bit, isn't it? I hope we can take six points off the Cup holders next season. Quote
Zico Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Weren't they at OT last time the champs league final was at wembley? Wonder why they arent this time? They were on the same weekend as the calendar got all messed up by the world cup, that and the fact they chose to move the CL from a Wednesday night to a Saturday a few years ago Quote

Sweep Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 ....right it's pretty much kick off, and it's gone 5.......I presume there is nothing wrong with cracking open the Rioja now is there?!? Quote
Ghana White Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 These singers sound like they're on bloody x factor. Get the anthem and abide with me belted out. Keep your medleys for the red lion karaoke Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I want City to win, but in a contentious and unfair way - like a penalty awarded for a dive or similar... Win/win - Wigan lose but City had to cheat to win. Quote
Zico Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Just found myself showing "go on" when that Wigan player had a chance and I don't want city to score Felt dirty but seems my disdain for city fans trumps all else Quote
Guest bwfcdan Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Why so many empty seats? It's ridiculous. Yet, it's all down to the FA. 40,000 corporate tickets, prices for Wigan/City fans starting from £60 upwards. Quote

Eavesy Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Wouldn't fancy playing this Wigan team next season. They might be playing infront of 11k but they'd be a threat like this. Quote
Guest bwfcdan Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Cheapest was sixty notes? It's a fucking dear do that really. Apologies, their was some tickets available at £45 but the main chunk of tickets were between £65 and £115 depending on where you wanted to sit. Ridiculous prices. Quote
