June 5, 201313 yr Regarding Holden I don't think anyone knows yet, but my gut feeling does say not to expect to much from a lad that's played 30 games in 3.5 years for us. I hope I'm wrong and he has the determination to prove me wrong too.
June 5, 201313 yr If he was playing and on top form then big clubs would be chasing him. He is not going to get a proper pre-season of intensive fitness work if he is away until the opening week. He may or may not be in the starting XI for the opening of the season. If he is playing he will definitely need a break by the end of the year (not the De Jong/Evans kind!). Hopefully he will get fitter and better as the season progresses, and make a big impact in the promotion drive, so that by the end of the season he will be with a Premier League club (Bolton) and willing to stay rather than fulfil his potential elsewhere.
