Youri McAnespie Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) The more I hear about shit like that; iris activated laptops, fingerprint recognition on I-phones, GPS trackers built in devices whether we want them or not, RFIDs everywhere - passports being the beginning, they'll be in money next, you'll (or rather 'they' ) will be able to turn your money off "Sorry Sir, we're afraid this money is unauthorised and therefore worthless..." Sometimes I think those Icke nutters might have a valid point on some subjects (not about those 'Boncentration Bamps' they've got planned though ) we're willingly giving up our civil liberties in a drone-like compliance in exchange for 'convenience', gadgetry or (in the case of Facebook and Twitter life histories/running commentaries) vanity and boastfulness...It's madness, I'm now off to wrap tinfoil around my head as I've loads of stuff to hide... COYW Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 There's no "cheek" involved at all. If you act like a cunt in a public place, people are going to witness it, whether they've got a camera or not. If these particular cunts weren't Bolton fans, there wouldn't be a single person on here defending them. There's a big difference between a few people witnessing it on the day and someone feeling the need to film it and upload it for the entire internet to witness. It's as if some folk think that an event has only really happened if they film it and watch it later. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) some folk think that an event has only really happened if they film it and watch it later. It's spot on that. Unless it's something bang out of order - racist abuse or the assault of someone innocent, for example, folk would do well to mind their own fucking business and leave the camera for it's original purpose... Filming everything like goggle-eyed cretins thinking they're fucking Michael Moore or that other tit, the Heidi Fleiss one. People filming at gigs - why? There's sodding hundreds of others doing the same, there's probably even 'official' type filming now the technology is everywhere, enjoy the show - start a moshpit or neck a load of drugs and start dancing like a buffoon, or is it to stick it on social media afterward - Look where I've been everybody! Youri McAnespie Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 'Reverse Media Diarrhea' that's my new term for it... Filming every event, bookmarking Websites to 'look at later', 'Facebooking' instead of going to the pub or someone's house and getting on it, downloading; books, music, films, telly to read or watch later and never actually doing this. Putting your entire life online unconstricted by any privacy settings - so that literally any c*nt who knows your name (or a similarly careless friend's unusual name ) can follow your every movement - It's madness, it's potentially going to lead to the downfall of mankind! It's as if some folk think that an event has only really happened if they film it and watch it later. That's just the way it is unfortunately. If you're going to act like a twat in a public place, someone is probably going to film it and put it on youtube. The easiest way around that - don't act like a twat in a public place. Quote
