The Kia Stadium

You heard it first here

Best all buy a Kia car too so we can afford more players

For the last couple of years I've worried about the selling of the naming rights to the stadium, hi Tec arena or Netto stadium gives me nightmares.

Kia Arena sounds better. Not particularly arsed either way, as long as the club get a reasonable amount for the sponsorship rights.

Be more than sponsorship mate

Well they only require a 4.9% APR after a £1,000 deposit so the fans can't moan that much :)

What do you mean? Buying the club?

Is the takeover talk a wind up? Or is this linked in or have I got this completely wrong? Ha

Can't see it happening. That said, revenue last year for them was at $42.5 billion, income was at $3.5 billion. Massive company, could be a good thing.

Very very very unlikely though obviously!!

I believe there is a far eastern company who want to purchase us an I have since been told its Kia. They wanted a premier league outfit but obviously costs were involved, however they have looked at us, our set up, our premier league history and are interested.

Wow, not sure how I feel about that.

Id be happy with it as long as they kept their noses out of footballing matters.

If they invested heavily in the players and kept locals on the board I'd be happy, unfortunately it does not happen to BWFC.

Owned by Hyundai they have many sports clubs they sponsor if you scroll down the link, would not suprise me if they bought the stadium naming rights but would be more than suprised if they bought the club, did BWFC not recently engage a company to find new investment from around the world?

Does anyone think that Kia will succ'eed?

They might bring in Arsene Venga to inspire some of our lads to kick on and play well enough to go to Rio.

They've sponsored the mongkick so it's a done deal.

Can't see how a public company answerable to shareholders would be given the green light to spunk a load of cash on a debt laden minor English football team. Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Surely this needs renaming to the ITK Takeover Thread? Nothing is 100% confirmed until Miami has done their roof.

No one has won it, or got anywhere near it, been free so far.

I suppose £200 sponsorship is a start. :)
